Just got out from 4th Aglaia run for this week, trying to win the Maiming Top as a DRG. Of course, of course the only time it drops is when I am paired with another DRG/RPR… and of course I rolled 9 (NINE) vs their 96 when they died at least 3 times every bosses.

Sooooo I didn't think this was possible. Neverreap is still a dungeon, and you can roll it in roulette. That I know is possible.

What I thought wasn't possible was to encounter a RDM in there that did melee combo only. Melee. Only.

No Embolden.
No Acceleration.
No casting of any type.
Just melee. Comboed and uncombo'ed, with Contre Sixt and Fleche sprinkled in for good measure.

Needless to say I swapped dance partners REAL FAST and put them on my tank friend.

Kill me.

I've seen melee only RDMs around! It is SOOO weird, I don't get it lol. There was a PF menace who would do the same exact melee-only RDM and he had a huge attitude, too.

Damn the player really wants a Fencer job

Dun Scah, first boss, that big aero which you need to hug the ice on.
Boss is on 1% when he casts it. Boss dies, ice disappears, the whole raid just goes flying off the ship.
Chat explodes with laughter. I wish I've been recording, that was so fun to watch. xD

To the people I was grouped with in the level 87 dungeon last night... I'm sorry.
I had no idea my internet would go down in the middle of the very first pull.
I didn't have internet access until several hours later :(

Aw, what a shame. Sorry to hear, and I feel you on this one. Had power go down twice today, both times when I was leveling DNC in Ktsis. Absolutely scrambled to switch to hotspot.

To the group that had the incredibly inconsistent RDM in cutters cry this morning, i am very sorry. I cant speak on if ive mastered the basics of the class or not yet, as ive only recently started using it. But i swear normally i dont fall asleep mid-dungeon. It was the worst type of falling asleep too, as it was like a walking sleep. Id be awake and contributing, then id black out for 30ish seconds, then wake up and catch up to group(convinced that now that i had re-awoken i would be able to finish dungeon), repeat. To their credit, we completed the run with only one death(that i was aware of anyway), and that was the healer dying shortly before the last boss was finished off. Before turning off the game i scrolled back my chat log, just to see. No one said anything. So again to you guys, im sorry. Normally those end of night runs either the que is too long and i fall asleep(or realize how tired i am and log out) before it pops, or the quick one get finished before it can get that bad. Today was unfortunately in the middle.

I sympathize with this a lot lol. At least you didn't have a hard dungeon or anything, and it went OK with no deaths. I have felt so bad to be in extremes or something when the melatonin kicks in. I just become too drowsy to comprehend anything going on

On the other hand, hopefully you got a good sleep after that dungeon and the blankets felt extra cozy!

Another Aglaia spam with certain goal in mind: either win the healers' glove or try my luck Greed'ing for the striking top (because I don't want to bring striking jobs :/). I just had to finish the errand with some story to remember: the 8th run. Everything up till the butt end of 8th attempt was like your regular Alliance Raid.

At Nald'thal's add phase, everybody grouped up accordingly except the MNK from our group who strayed to the B's group. At that point I have a hunch something's going to happen, and it did happened: of all players to get the stack marker, our stray MNK got it. I hit that rescue button to pull them back to our group, but apparently the B's stack marker owner also had the same idea. With both stack markers stacked nicely on top each other, everybody in my group + that poor fella that tried to adjust drop like sack of popotoes. Me? I'm apparently just 1-2y away from getting murdered, but it doesn't matter. Because we wiped with all that many players dead on the wrong side.

Guess what? Of course the game 'rewarded' me for my unintentionally murderous act: I greed'ed the striking top and won it.

Smh RNGesus and their sense of humor...
