Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I was very disappointed with the announcement that the new races would not have both genders accessible to players. I feel like Yoshi P himself, when brought on for FFXIV, specifically highlighted that Roegadyn and Miqo'te being one gender did not make sense in this world. The reasoning behind Male Viera and Female Hrothgar not making sense from a lore perspective is also strange, because... They literally write the lore! They are in charge of every detail of this world and universe. If something does not 'make sense', it's because they chose to make it that way.

I hope they reconsider this decision, and maybe have a closer look at the player reactions. I will continue to play and support FFXIV. it just worries me that the choices of the developers feels like a repeat of previous mistakes.

By that logic the gap that Hrothgar fill is already taken by the Roe and they aren't needed.

I support choice and oppose gender-locked races. Male Viera would be a welcome addition.

If someone doesn't understand but wants to learn, they will listen. But if someone considers simple observations of bias trends, or really any critique on the game as an insult towards the devs, then they probably are here for other reasons.

Why not have the genders, but keep it limited. Like 1 male viera per account or something.

Please do the big male viera boyz please, not small ones. Or do both. But not only small ones. (and female Rhotgar too).
Genderlocked races don't work. As it didn't work 5 years ago for Miqo'te and Roe so please learn for mistakes !

Might as well do this with male miqo'te too if you go down that route
