Steam payment HUGE price increase!

Yes ...not giving people some kind of warning is wrong. I don't see how people can disagree with that. However the actual price change I don't see as wrong.The only place it is a major price change is in Russia. But they where paying the equivalent of about $5-$6 US. The Brazilian price hike I believe was about a 60% price hike.

Because I checked it with a friend who uses Steam to sub and that's his only option. He doesn't get an option to use the Steam Wallet. And Steam throws cards at us every sale and you can earn several months worth of game time via them.

Cause it doesn't change anything and if i have an emergency i can renew it some days later, money isn't easy.

I see. You can still pay on a recurring basis via Steam wallet though.

You can renew it anyway even with recurring. You can stop your sub for a few days if you want and then re-sub. I had to go on a trip for a month in 2014, I cancelled my sub and re-subbed when I came back.

You CAN use steam wallet funds. Did just that 3 days ago.

If you are not going to even try to understand the issue here (which is the SUDDEN price increase, no warning, nothing at all and on a moment far too shady. He can use steam to do recurring payment but he can't pay using steam wallet? he should contact steam cause there is probably some error on his account, i never saw this kind of problem and I have friends using steam wallets in other regions as well, even regions that didn't had regional price.
