Yeah in my experience I'm getting some of the best SP from drubbers. I average 300-320 which is lower than your 450 but post-patch they are one of the most decent mobs to grind with.

Have you tried crafting recently? It gives an insane amount of SP right now.

R17 WVR making Cotton Turbans = 400-500 SP and 900+ XP per success and about 150-200 per failure. I was like ":O."

Haven't tried any leves yet though. At the awkward stage where there's no R15 leves around and too low to succeed on R20 leves...

Thats what I mentioned earlier. Crafting SP overall = WAY more than battle sp, and gathering guildleve SP = WAY more than battle SP. A 2000sp bonus on battle leve is crap compared to what we were getting prior-1.18, but a 2000sp bonus on a local or gather leve is a godsend.

With this patch theyve made it take a lot less longer to rank up gathering and crafting, while making it take longer to rank up battle.

PS: Just got 2790 bonus on a R40 TAN leve. More than half of the of what i needed for r38 woot :)

Anyone who is complaining that SP has been nerfed has not been out there playing the game but have been in here whining and shaking their fists in rage. They have no evidence what so ever to support this crazy notion. In one relativity short 2 hour play I managed to get from half way to r46 to half way to r47 gla. All I did was one behest, a few quests for 3000 sp, the rank 45 Ul'dah story quest for an INSANE 46,000 sp, and a few leves. That is over 80,000 sp in two hours.

I then did a few DOL Miners leves for over 10'000 sp and called it a night.

SP was not nerfed it was just balanced.

Get over yourselves.

I do think ranking up should take longer in MMOs than in non-MMOs, but I plan to make the process both possible and enjoyable for players willing to invest the time, even if they’re solo, and even by doing quests and guildleves.

Are you serious? You just nerfed SP gains which you said you wouldn't do, we are now forced to grind to make decent progress for hours which you also said you wouldn't do and I already discussed leves' pathetic excuse of SP. As for quests they would have been viable if there were more than 5 and it would be more enjoyable if a quest in Gridania didn't sent me to Coerthas and back for a grand total of 1,700 Skill Points. I could get much more grinding in the same amount of time it takes to make that walk.

Why was this done? Are you really thinking that slowing ranking up to a crawl will retain population? Because this sort of thing is exactly what made everyone quit. Considering the state the game was slowly recovering from I would think this was the last thing they would consider doing.

Note sir that people are mostly talking about how BATTLE LEVES were nerfed too severely while GATHERING AND CRAFTING leves got a major boost. at least thats what I am talking about.

And some people no longer have the opportunity to obtain that major SP off of story leves, they are all done. Some people also dont have the opportunity to obtain the new sp increases from side-quests, some people blew through all theirs.

But one can argue that these changes are not for people who have been playing, they are for people that will be coming.

What they can do to reduce all this anger from the people who have been playing is reset the story quest, class quests, and side quests for everyone.

It may not be for 8 months but we will now have to do exactly that. Grind groups were very rare before the patch and now it's the only viable option.

Very well. Please grind 5-6 hours a day NON-STOP, no afks, no brbs, and grinding on the correct ranked monsters. After 8 months, please come back and tell us the results. Then, and only THEN, can you say that Yoshi-P has lied to you. Unless you come from the future, I believe that your claim cannot hold true in such a context.

At this rate, I would recommend you rename your topic title to, "SP nerfed for guildleves and behests. A small percentage of the community believed they were lied to."
