Sounds like FF7 might be coming in with Neo Bahamut and Bahamut ZERO :p

Most groups are slowly progressing through Bahamut. It takes about a day for them to learn how to deal with a trio attack and there's at least 5 different ones back-to-back at the start of Bahamut's phase. There's a couple groups not streaming that are further but details are scarce. I don't believe anyone is close to a kill yet. Apparently the fight gets even harder after all the trio stuff.
I would be watching 5150 right now but busy watching something else and pondering how to spend my day :P
tbh 5150 having a sposored stream is the best thing that has hapened to twitch ff14, It's hella fun to go there and see their progress live chatting with the community I which there was more sponsored streams around to finally break out of this "don't copy mu strat bs" I really enjoy watching ultimae much more than savage it feels like this fight was just the right choise of content odd patches has never been this alive before.
More than trio? Looks interesting:

Can't wait to see this in real.
To think there's something even worse than "twister gigadivebomb edgetowers megaflarevensfall"!
so I belive ultimate is paying off for the first time a raid tier in this game has gained enough exposure to be on the media

and I think this is awesome is exactly what this game needed and the fact that is starting to go around out of our inner circle is exactly what it was needed. Definitely the best piece of content the devs have done in a long time, even if most of us wont get to clear it, it's just really fun to watch the streams and hangout with the community while enjoying this ocntent. fun to play, fun to watch. well done Mister SUDO very well done.

A group from Japan has officially cleared Bahamut Ultimate recently.
Congrats to the winning team!

So we have a world first, but who will be the non-japanese first? Game on!
Something to note is that 6/8 of those members are Ex-Lucrezia, who broke up during Gordias.
Seems like they can't get enough World Firsts for Coil. :P
Tis done, suppose this will quell the cries for nerfs for a while
No the main wall is doing everything perfectly and that's fine, it's a content idd meant to challenge the limits of your skiill and if you don't have them that's fine eitherway
man what a fun experience to watch. Well done Ms.Sudo and well done to the rest of the Dev team this was seriusly one really awesome piece of content.
I admire the WF team so much after this. No rez utility besides healers!
If a healer dies in this fight more often than not it’s a wipe. The DPS from the machinist is preferred to a redmage
Congratulations to the WF team! It's been really fun watching the progress of this fight! I also hope that Square doesn't nerf it; actually I hope they keep it ilvl synced. Those that can clear this deserve to show off their title and gaudy weapon forever.
I'm mostly gonna be pugging ultimate for awhile. So far I've seen Nael Divebombs, but I have a feeling at a pace I'm currently going I might be able to beat it in a month and a half. Regardless, I'm still having a lot of fun.
The second group was from Odin (EU).
But for me much more interesting is a little detail we can see in their screenshot. For all who say players with controller can never be as good as players with keyboard, look at this picture. You can clearly see a cross command bar:

The race for first on this has been quite exciting! Congrats to the victors, but to everyone else, keep at it! Having done the fight a bit myself, there is absolutely no shame in not clearing it first if you can clear it at all - it's a remarkably tough fight, and if I see anyone on my server around with these weapons I'll know they're top players worthy of props. To the SE team, this is a great addition and I hope it's relative success propels you into doing similar fights moving forward (one with the original ARR primal trio next, maybe?).
Clear video finally released.

Coming from a controller player that raids hardcore, there’s no real difference (nowadays) from one to a keyboard and mouse raider. The only uphill battle is healing, where mouse macros and other short cuts give a clear advantage to them. Even then, a healer on a controller can beat any current content.
Man that final phase looks simply to look but managing all the CDs for Morn Afah while not losing anyone to anything seems very intimidating
Coming from a PC player who's always played KB/M, I envy anyone who can do any content in this game with a controller.
I tried it when my mouse broke and I was waiting on my new one and I just..couldn't wrap my head around it. It just felt clunky and overwhelming.
It probably is due to the fact I'm so used to KB/M and hate consoles as a whole lol I envy people who actually master the skill and raid with this cause I'm utterly baffled as to how people do it. Much respect.
Same as with anything, practice and muscle memory...until SE decides to slice and dice the skills and you need to figure out where you are putting things to flow better...
And while I'm at it, I am not a hardcore raider, and have only stepped into savage(A1S) for light farming on relics...just never really have time as I don't know when I will get home most days from work, and not much desire(other than some of the gears...definitely want for glamours)
