What happend to Queen's hairstyle?

For all of you who think we are just complaining... I saved up and collected 200 of those stupid bags, appraised them all at once and literally NONE of them were the hairstyle.... Not only is this absolutely UNFAIR but ridiculous... I'm so upset.

I wasn't greedy with it and sold it for only 500k. I've seen some go for 3 mil tho. But I'm on Balmung so I dunno how it'll be on your server. :c

I think it could go as far as 10m tbh, judging by this very low supply and very high demand.

You get the same bronze piece no matter what floor you're on. So yes, it's any floor.

You don't get it from any floor, you get it from appraising accursed hoards and and you get the same type of hoard from 1 to 50.

If I had to guess, the other 3 hoards will have much higher chance to get the hairstyle, but they won't be added until 3.45.

Because SE got the hair design from Final Fantasy Type-0's character, Queen.

and many other this patch and the last few are based on Final Fantasy Type-0

If it can help, after i don't know how many 1-10 runs, i came to the conclusion that accursed hoards spawning points are the same as traps and occasionally both at the same time.

Here's a proof with my last run alone. ( i had many more this way but i didn't record them ):

If you are farming hoards and do not have intuiton up, i recommend you do not use promanders of safety, and try looking for traps once a room is secure, it's even easier if you do have a promander of sight up. If you memorize traps spawns and are lucky you will eventually find a chest. :)

People are doing it yes. I've also found out to level your weapons you don't need to progress past 1-10. Since the silver chests is RNG on whether or not it upgrades, just keep running 1-10 and you will eventually get max weapons.
I think PoTD is more then broken in that aspect. They at least need to increase the chance of upgrade the deeper you go, but having it failing on a difficult floor... Just cheap PoTD out.

Yup i got my last 3 upgrades just running 1-10 over and over aswell.

If you do not own the mount, I do recommend (unless you do not want the mount) to run atleast 10x 1-50 for the 10 Potsherd, since those can be turned in for the mount.

I had it for weeks on my main. :)

It got to the point I just said screw it and bought the hair with gil..it's too frustrating to spend hours upon hours, even days farming countless bags just to deal with the frustration of getting confetti, some useless materia, and whatever else. This could have seriously been avoided if it was just a quest item and not something that is locked behind rng.

Those are monk af, you can get them dyeabe by trading some items into an npc in more donna.

Did a few runs today, managed to get 12 bronze-trimmed sacks. Guess what, got 9 fkn magicked prisms out of 12 sacks. Stop trying to make Palace of the Dead happen. It's almost as bad as Lords of Verminion.

POTD is always packed when I see everyone outside the entrance. It's already happened.

I opened 125 bags with no hairstyle. Made a rage video about it on my youtube channel... a kind soul saw it, took pity on me, and gave me the damn thing. I hope none of you have to open that many bags for your hair. For nophica's sake.

Meanwhile some ppl in my Hunt shell got theirs in 5 bags and 23 bags...

I've had the same member from my group have it drop twice in the first 20 bronze-trimmed sacks; so it really is totally random...

I'm still trying to get it..... :( :( :(

PS3 limitations is most likely why.

I've been grinding for this hairstyle for 4 days now at 5+ hours a day. Before the patch, I had all level 60's on my character and had gotten 4 of the 135 Padjali weapons. Why on Earth they decided to lock what is IMO the most feminine of the new hairstyles behind Potd and kept the other more neutral shorter styles opened up towards the entire player base with no grind necessary for those is rather disappointing. The loot pool for Potd is ridiculously large too. I've gotten so much junk and I've managed to crash the market on MULTIPLES of anything Thavnairian, High House, Survival, Gryphonskin, and the Potd housing items. It wasn't worth my time to run this before with all 60's and now there's no reason to besides the hair because these items sell for peanuts on the mb now.

I've gotten one useful V materia with no end of sparklers and prisms in sight. SE, don't ever wonder why people get tired of some of your content so quickly, it's because of you making us drudge through it 100's of times to get what we want out of it. Put the hair on a token system with the potsheards, running the same content all week for me while others get it third drop is bs, and I'm no stranger to RNG in this game. I understand locking the 2.0 ponies (as I rode the rng with those before they were nerfed), the birds, the damn 2.0 materia chance melds on my 2 Zeta's, as these are and were highly sought after in game items. But HAIR, something that's always been available to all unless its a special purchase in Mogstation...REALLY?

Apparently I'm at 38 done and still nothing. Good thing I got nothing better to do.

I'm just wondering which one will reach its goal: my SCH getting 60, or the haircut. I wouldn't be surprised if the former happened first.

I went into POTD dead today for the first time ever. Got my hairstyle after 5 runs.

I only had a couple of hours to play this morning and got my third one. I am trying to get some of the other stuff like more Thavnairian gear and minions.

At 140 Hoard, still no hair...

This is completely killing my motivation to play the game at all. For the first time today I actually had the thought about cancelling my subscription. After running PotD for the umpteenth time it occurred to me I hadn't done any of my daily roulettes or Bst Tribes or Clan Marks, etc. Things that actually have a long term payout by doing them on a daily basis. Instead of doing those, I kept telling myself, just 10 more tries, 5 more tries, a few more tries... until I finally had a moment of clarity and realize that my desire for this item is making me behave like an addict...

Thinking it over I'm well passed the point of even enjoying having the item now, especially when I know ppl that have gotten the hair within 5 appraisals. I just want it to be over and done with, but what if I'm the person it takes 5000+ appraisals to get the stupid thing. I can't look at that and consider it achievement... it would just make me hate myself.

Basically this, give me something to work towards. Right now I have no idea if I'm going to get the item on the next appraisal or the 10,000th appraisal.

I got the Hair on my third run, extreme luck in this case. If anyone on Balmung wants to purchase it pst if/when you see me online.
