Yes, we don't know exactly what kind of contract they have with 7-11, but like I said, I doubt it's one giving distribution rights of said items to 7-11 indefinitely.

plenty of JP players were not happy about it being seven-eleven being the only way to get the items. personaly i do hope they move it to mogstation as the nearest 7-11 is pretty far away from where i live.

I have a 7-11 within walking distance to my home. I still don't want to go there and storm the place for bottles of water/soda that I don't really need just to get some items. I hope it goes on MogStation as well.

It's slightly concerning that in Duty Commenced they talked about finalising the deal for North America, but made absolutely no mention of the EU/Oceania/Asia release. Honestly for the rest of the world, it would be much easier putting these items on the cash store, the EU is made up of dozens of countries alone, it'd be a royal pain to do any sort of marketing campaign over here. I really hope they don't just forget about us.

I have never seen a 7-11 store in The Netherlands, if they keep it as a 7-11 event, the odd of me owning a maid/butler outfit is going to be very slim. I think the best way to sell those items is via the Mog Store.

I don't think 7-11 is anywhere in the EU, they could try alternate brands, but with each country having different laws, it'd be too much bother. Cash shop seems like the only viable option for us.

Hmm. As an Australian, there are some things that are issues to me about the game lately; the international currency conversion fees I have to pay for my subscription (and not having an AUD option to begin with), access to things through a SE store...

However, I do purchase soundtracks and art books through other stores direct from Japan. I just think it is unfortunate that, there are many fans willing and wanting in Oceania, and the options aren't always clear and easily presented to us.

Then again, we probably aren't a huge market compared to other regions.

I am frustrated, but I understand.

Australians really get screwed on a lot of things, by my understanding, when it comes to gaming in General, right? Namely, they tend to pay more, and they also tend to have games censored a LOT harder than we have them here in the states (Some releases not even making it to Australian shelves) - while it's not as bad as the extremist chinese censoring (I think everyone knows the 'censorship of the dead' kinda deal. Though maybe not the details - I fall into that second camp as well) it's still pretty nasty.

Wish there was something we could do about this stuff.

I don't want a 7-11 thing. They'll all just get sold out. I don't like it at all. Put it on mog station.

I've yet to watch Duty Commenced, but considering there is no Seven Eleven in the province of Quebec in Canada where I live, that means that all of the others like me who live in Quebec will be left out too.

Agreed. Plus I am lazy..lol or I'll have my friends go get the stuff for me and take the codes. Much much much rather have it on the Mog Station, that way it doesn't leave out other regions as well.

The japanese event should end this May, so if I hope we will hear something about it before 3.3. I love to see the items released to us via mog station in 3.3.

Assuming it's like any normal business deal, they're likely waiting for the contract to be up. The unfortunate thing is that even when the event officially ends, the contract terms may explicitly say for how much longer SE cannot make said items available by other means. Best case, we may see it a month or two after it ends (pretty sure it's still going on).

ugggh...they need to just throw it on the mog station :( I mean, I'll easily have access to whatever item it is as I am in NYC, but what about others throughout the world? :s well anyway I guess we still have no idea what they are planning on doing...so who knows...

I honestly hope they give up with setting up another collab and put it through Mogstation so everyone can get these items.

I want these so bad too! They need to put it in the Mog Station already!

In-game? SUPER doubtful but I wouldn't complain.

Black Desert Online has shown that people are still going to buy 30-35 euro outfits. Personaly, I wouldnt, Lets hope they release it on the Mog Station with a decent price like 5 to 10 euro. Even better would be to turn it into a quest and give it to us for free, but then the Japanese community would complain.. soo..
