So you are cringing about people expressing their characters in a way that they like.... how is that a problem? its more of a you problem if anything; so get over it?

I just logged into the game to do normal raids since I haven't done the weekly yet and I had logged out in Limsa.
The first thing that happened was that a Male Miqo'te ran past me in speedos and nothing else and a Male Viera stood across me at the Aetheryte in the 2b legs.
The Male Miqo'te then noticed me and started walk in circles around me while looking at me.
There are no female characters in revealing gear in sight atm and on the sides where the market boards are there's a Male Roegadyn sitting with a Male Lalafell both half-naked with no shirt.
This isn't even abnormal in Limsa lets not pretend like it's just Female characters.

Tell me again how this is '' hurr durr female characturs '' and how it isn't sexist to specifically zero in on female characters?



Before I was about to press reply here I looked again and the Miqo'te has now moved on to another person and is circling around them too lol.
To me that's actually understandable to be bothered by because it's infringing upon someone else and creeping them out same with people who whisper you trying to '' seduce you ''.
But oh no a Female character afk:ing in Limsa showed some legs that's the issue /s.

I was expecting something much worse from the post in question, yet ultimately it ended up just being something I'd consider worthy of an eye roll at most before shrugging and moving on with my day. As I see it, everybody is allowed their preferences when it comes to aesthetics but so too is there no obligation for other people to like those same aesthetics themselves.

Another factor is, of course, that this is a game with a global audience. It stands to reason, then, that there's going to be differences in what some people consider acceptable compared to others. Given that this is ultimately a video game forum, I rather suspect it isn't really an appropriate place for many to go on a crusade demanding change absolutely everywhere.

Corporate facade speech censorship that only allows for third party / rmt and backhanded passive agressive / wild troll methods to thrive in the background , while censoring and hindering the capacity of normal players to call out what is really happening with trolls and pfinders obvious run / try destroyers to keep some people's buiseness as usual "safe".

Also : Can't wait for the gaming industry to introduce NFT's to allow even much more compartimentalization and ease in rmt'ing in crypto of every segment / aspect of a game to make a profit from access to a raid, access to hd textures, access to a open world capital where everyone could see their mounts, access to new gatekept content behind new methods of cutting your game into ever more tiny pieces that they will find a way to monetize in every way possible, while still making you feel like :

"see you are a stakeholder of the content of the game because you paid for this new city, this new raid, this new job, that we planned to put in the game anyway but now, it's special, because you did not only pay for the game, but you paid for the 3d models and content in it too afterwards lol, what do you mean, you pay "again" for something we already made ?' You don't want to pay crypto for the new content ? See these other players there they did, you are slowing them down with your "only sub" account, they paid, you didn't , now we are going to make you feel guilt because you didn't cave in and they did ! You are slowing down your server because you don't want to buy nft's ! Now all these players are pointing fingers at you ! Shame ! Shame ! "
