Actually the hard mode primal ARE part of a story. A new storyline that starts immediately after you finish Praetorium, it is called "Chronicles of the New Era". It leads to the storyline behind the Coil of Bahamut and behind.Quote:

Of all my complaints, such as they are, fights being too hard isn't one of them. I do think it'd be good to not force people via the main story into dungeons, as that's got no bright future what so ever. But the dungeons themselves are well made; some are easier, some are quite challenging.
I do not think hardmodes should be especially nerfed; I think you should have to do them if you want their phat lewt, not as part of a main storyline progression. Want the shinies? Try harder. Just want to play the core game and generally stroll along? People should be able to do this too. -

Seriously? Do the dungeons on Hard Mode, make sure your armor has a sparkly surface so that we all know, this guy did it hard mode.
The vast majority of working public who sub the game, will be just fine thank you. Remove the dungeons from the MUST pass to complete portion of Your story, or people will start not caring whether they ever had a story.

There is more story to be had after prae but unless SE expect ppl to finish titan HM for the next part of main story then you have nothing to worry about and not everyone was meant to get a relic. The idea was that if you cant down hm titan then you're not rdy for coil. The continuation of the louisoix story in coil can be considered a sub story and not main and im sure many would agree with me on that.Quote:

The group that refers to them self as "to casual to complete this hard step" will never last in true endgame content and this is put there to prevent people who aren't capable of performing at a end game level from reaching it. I'd rather a slightly smaller community rather than one that isn't fully up to par. Yes for a true casual player it may take a extra week or two to down these hard modes but it's very possible, the only ones that "need a carry" or "find it to hard" are in fact bad at dodging or managing the fight mechanics. Being casual does not limit your ability only the amount of time you have so it may take longer but a competent player will pass these stages. Also the hard modes and coil are post story incase you derped out the credits rolled after ultima and AK. And for the record I'm a fully employed casual player that has no problem with difficult content weeding out derps from real endgame content. Also I hear WoW is offering free max level toons to suit many people like you who desire easy mode. And the only thing that sparkles is from a quest not any dungeon or primal drop other than ifrit and we all know that isn't hard at all. Also I see on the lodestone you have 0 level 50's so you are QQing about something you have never even tried I swear you people that expect a easy game cause you bought it make me laugh get on a F2P if you want a pay to win game.Quote:
