Special mobs and NPCs controlled by 'GM'

Glad to see so many like, hope to see something about it in the future. :D

And about RTM, there could be also some GM (cool-dressed characters of course lol) patrols around, like guards controlling the territory, instead to be invisible.

This would be an awesome edition to the game. Like 8v8 GM's VS Linskell Team in the Gladiator Arena. Or getting to play with the GM's for special events. There should be a huge Eorza Olympics too. Axe throwing, Archery, etc. Where GM's have to compete too. Thumbs Up

It'll be a challenge, a fun one at that. Bring it on, GM's, I challenge you anytime.

Count number of servers + number of areas. Pointless idea, we dont need GM to spawn random enemies +There is not such big number of GMs.

What we need more is pve content + Pvp in any form would solve desire from original post.

Also ppl talking about the amount of GMs thatw ould be needed for it because of the amount of servers, if the GMs are like they were on XI they will beable to jump between servers, therefore if say GMs could randomly control NMs it would be possible with 1 GM, it just wouldnt happen on differant servers at the same time.

There could be so many possibilities with this especially if people start monopolising some NMs, a GM could control it and rape the ppl monopolising it.

It could get intensive on GM staff if they did it for special events, or they could rotate round the servers after so long, so they could say they would be on a server for 2 hours, then they would move servers and do this till they had been on all servers and then start again, for example 3 GMs rotating round servers would work and there would still be some to handle support.

This would be possible when the game is fixed, but it would need some thinking about to minimise stress on the staff and still be enjoyable for players.

I think GM's should spawn as Chocobo's and give city - Camp rides :D

I don't know if you were gaming back then but used to happen in EQ1 in the days before Ruins of Kunark I remember this one time Innoruuk showed up in the commonlands and proceeded to eat my Wood Elf bard lol

True, i remember i was in a group with some friends, and then all of a sudden we see a GM OCC across the server, with a riddle, when we figured it out and went to the location, the elf goodess tunare showed up and gave us another riddle, this went on for the entire day, till we fought some invasion and they rewarded us with some nice items :P
