If we can gather iron ore in ARR like sand on a beach, the price would be much lower than 1/10. If it more like Mithryl ore, it would be higher. It is not simple a 1/10 math, you need to think about droprate, too. Everything change. Inclusive the market prices.

And the sellers are not the only one who are greedy. Buyers are greedy and are looking for the cheapest price.

Because ppl are greedy they wont pay overpriced items. Ofc you will have the first weeks prolly 1-3 months totally crazy prizes, cause it will take time for the market to regulate. Nobody can say how the market gonna be cause nobody knows the game yet, so stop crying and wait how everything will go its way you can't change it anyway...

And i can't understand all the ppl that save gils now, you should better save materials for 2.0 cause you will need them to craft stuff at the beginning to make lots of money or sell them to stupid ppl like OP that think prices gonna stay the same and pay them....

People will buy stuff at a higher price if they have the gil if they think its worth it even when its not.

And they'll lose money, either learn their lesson or go broke, and eventually the market will even out

It's not just our money, the rate at which gil enters the economy will be cut to 1/10 as well. In time, it'll balance out

Prices changes anyway drastically, with or without the 1/10 stuff.
I say the wood market would be very interesting with ARR (furnitures for the housing)

It all depends on the first person who put whatever into the market wards.

What should be done is this.

SE makes it that the maximum price you put into the MW is the same price you get for selling it to a vendor.

That way you have the same buying power, and not some jerk who gets to put the first price in the Market wards.
