1.xx is mostly just filler for those of us who stuck around to keep us paying them long enough to release 2.0. Sure, constantly releasing weapons is getting grating, but it probably isn't going to cause many people to leave. So from a cost benefit point of view, it makes sense to keep producing weapon rewards.

You all asked for it lol. Also yes this is located in the unused (largely) islands near Limsa, so no new locations at all, probably instanced as well and definitely going to see idiots at least with WAR, WHM, WHM, BLM, BLM, BLM, BRD, BRD setups as usual.

There will always be whiners..unexpected content = Whiners come out full force.

While I personally don't have an issue with the weapons as rewards, objectively, it is kind of silly that we have so many options in one slot, while only having... what? Four sets of endgame armor per job (most of which is horribly out-dated)?

Well, as I said in my last post, I'm pretty sure I know why their doing it, and I don't really mind. It's something to do that looks quite fun, so I'm happy.

You all forget the current primal battles are probably going away since they not part of 2.0 storyline for the time being after 2.0 hits which = no more primal drop gear.

They need to throw in content for when 2.0 hits. They will probably keeps skirmishes in 2.0 and we'll lose all the primal weapon drops...just a thought.

and since this is a different type of Battle content, I would assume there will be new BGM for this content! :D ( Love Music!)
