Did SE threaten to not make ultimates anymore?

My takeaway is that they are going to continue to do ultimates but have are looking into having an actual role in the world first race. I think his meaning was that he doesn't understand why you would take away from the experience of learning how to do the fight as intended instead of trying to cheat your way to first place.

Do people claiming stuff like this think these cheat mods play the game for the players? The players still have to do the mechanics themselves, the cheats just make it easier. Human error will still cause issues even with the mods.

And before we have a return to last night's dumpster fire of a discussion, no I'm not defending cheating nor am I downplaying cheat mods, I just keep seeing this idea of "cheat mods = no effort required" passed around and it doesn't help matters at all.

Their achievements / titles / omega weapons were removed from their accounts.

Square Enix completely erased any sign they ever killed that boss.

End of discussion.
