You make no sense. A new player having the option to catch up fast with end game players will stick with the game longer than quitting like 99% would after 1 month and being lvl 10. Because it takes so fucking long to lvl.

But why? Why do you call people who enjoy leveling as it is now lazy? Why does it matter as long as people are enjoying themselves? And more importantly, what makes your opinion any more valid than the majority of players who like it as it is?
In the current state of the game, what is there to even do along the way besides a few low level dungeons and quests? Even if they did slow leveling down, most of the content that there is currently would already completed on their first trek to 50. Is it learning their job? I met people in FFXI who were even more clueless about how to play their job. A good player is a good player and they will learn the mechanics no matter how fast leveling is. Also, what does fighting dodos have to teach you about the mechanics of a fight such as Garuda or Ifrit? The mechanics of the lower level dungeons are far too simple regardless.
2 of the people in this post didn't power level i know for a fact it just to easy to level and hurting the game
i make no sense well let me ask you this cause you are in the same boat i am. We both have all DOW/DOM 50 so are you gonna be leveling with the new player that joins? Unless you make a second account no, you're not so we have to hope to god that SE actually bring in alot of players in 2.0 instead of a few here and there because if not they are not gonna stay cause not everyone wants to solo to 50. If you don't understand what i am saying then sorry, i am not gonna waste my time.
To be honest i don't care about it but, if you can tell me more then one reason why keeping it the same would benefit the game i will drop the whole bit but, just enjoyment and everyone leveling super fast is great for the vets but, gonna suck for new players that don't have anyone to level with but, meh!? i
Reasonable conditions.
Problem with the second one is really the fact that Eorzea needs to be further populated to support more quests with Exp rewards, not to mention the story arcs and so on that usually come with those. The hamlets aren't really enough in this case. We need outposts, camps, and villages/towns. I just hope the world designers for 2.0 kept that in mind.
I love your quote so true, even tho it wasn't made to be a tank either but, i seen some pretty sick rdm/nin back in the day that could tank the shit out almost anything
My personal opinion: I don't care how long it takes to level as long as leveling is fun. Currently, it isn't fun. There is not enough content along the way to support more than one class from 1-50. There needs to be options besides leves and grinding.
Yoshi-P said in his letter that the leveling speed is intentionally set were it is until the arrival of 2.0. I am fine with that because in 2.0 they are adding a ton of things to do.
I completely agree with you i'm probably one of the few that do enjoy leveling and increasing my job slowly over time but, your 100% right it isn't fun right now and it's fast imo, and slowing down isn't going to make it anymore fun. While i agree that i would love if they added in new areas as you level that you could explore quest that you didn't as you leveled along or just other things that take your mind off of the plain fact that your just leveling. I am not arguing that it shouldn't be fun i am just saying that it has to slow down because if it don't player are all gonna be capped out and any new player that joins wont have anyone to level with. That is all. Like i said i could care less i guess because i am a vet to this game been playing since launch except for my deployment but, at the same time i do care about the time i have invested and i know the game can't stay the way it is and succeed.
