Alliance Raids and players not waiting for Cutscene Watchers

Ever been teleported into the fight and get hit, which forces skipping the cutscene?

Because that apparently was a thing in Tower for a bit, where the False Idol could force people out of the cutscene.

Just because YOU may be a cutscene skipper, means everybody else also has to if you're there?

Apparently my datacenter is very pro cutscene watcher because multiple people complain, even saying if they have new people and "cutsceners" beforehand, too.
I dont mind waiting, there is nothing like the first time seeing something. Thats the most fun in the game, so i let other people have it

I LOVE the reactions of first timers for Puppets Bunker and everybody is like "just wait"

This is because 90% of cutscenes are camera flying around the boss/dungeon. The cutscenes are invalidated as something special. That's why people don't want to wait for 1 person to look at same meaningless cutscenes.
Another take is that person could be afk if he is not asking to wait especially.

So do you watch Cutscenes the first time or skip them and demand everybody to skip them too, since you did so the first time?

Boss Cutscenes can have story to them and people want to see them.
Forcing newbies to watch videos because oh no, they suck at the new thing they are doing is rude!
Forcing newbies to skip cutscenes because oh no, just watch it after and not while you are experiencing it, thats so RUDE!

I hate seeing new people skip the cutscene in fear of making others wait.

Its an MMO, there will always be new people and the whole "me" thing isnt going to work out. Let them experience the fight, the start of a fight shows mechanics alone first, if they are gonna miss that, they are going to die if they see it paired with other things.

I watch cutscenes the first time I'm in a new instance but I dont demand that everyone waits. If people start without me, then I'll just join in later after the cutscene is finished. If they wait then that's also fine. Never be afraid of just watching your cutscenes, it's that simple. Demanding that people skip their cutscenes is of course very rude, you shouldnt do that. But starting the fight is not the same as demanding that you skip, the game is built so that you can watch your cutscene and then still enter the fight.
I dont think the start of fight mechanics show off is really that fair of a point. If you pay attention, the mechanics are going to be obvious still, if you dont pay attention (as many new and not new players alike do) you'll get hit.

"Just pay attention" Hm. I agree that people should, many don't...
But following the herd may work, it may not. But telling new people with no infos to just pay attention and they will be gucci? Debatable, not what i would say tho.

You are invulnerable a bit after a cutscene but you still can die basically "immediately" after because you had no time nor way of knowing whats up. Are you even? I know you are invuln in cutscene but i also saw people die immediately after they spawned in, i dont remember.
For the Ball in Puppets, cutsceners can basically miss over half of the fight. Yes, that part is like... who cares? But whats the fun of missing half of a fight?

There is literally nothing like the feeling of doing new (to you) content for the first time and people not being able to wait that one minute (a bit more for false idol, that one is long) is like... really, you have THAT little time to play that a FEW minutes will make you not have enough of it?
In an MMO?
Where a thing can take up to 20 minutes longer than it "usually" does because of people just dying (new and not new a like) a lot?

Why does everybody that plays on their own time have to fear missing out on a good chunk of fights just because the others play without having any spare time, as example? Why are you special for playing without the neccessary time but people wanting to watch cutscenes AND start as a team are rude to want to do so.

I always find that the people that are complaining about common courtesy and cutscene skipping are the same people that come into an alliance/dungeon unprepared/half afk'ing the whole dungeon, talking to their FC the whole time etc.
For some reason the 1st few points make you an awful person, but slacking/not being present is completely fine :)
