THEY ARE BUFFING PLD DPS HALLELUJAH.
the same team that did not tell him that healers want to heal others and instead whm got lilybell that trigger when that same player only gets hit?
the same team that tested ast and did not tell that minor arcana is giving ast a button bloat for no reason?
the same team that tested sch and said it was fine when in fact sch had major issues with his skills all contradicting and even preventing usage of one another and major pet delay issues? the only thing ew fixed was pet responsiveness and nothing else.
i would say fire that team really ,none of them played healer even for 10s i doubt they even tested a healer in their QA runs otherwise i doubt we would have seen such big train wrecks and mismanage/out of context/copyPasted spells and abilities at healers and tanks, especially with tanks now being the new blue healer it seems.
true but its 2k instant every 60s which is pretty insane
Definitely, it's not bad at all, especially when compared to WHM. Which IMO should have MP regen attached to Thin Air.
Forgot about that change. Apologies, I don’t play SCH that often. I’ll be the first to admit it’s my weakest of the four.
Be that as it may, though—SCH still can stagger MP regen every 30 seconds with proper timing with Lucid. Versus SGE really only has Lucid, so Addersgall dumping becomes a necessity at times when you aren’t actively using them for healing. As someone else mentioned, its MP “issues” are vastly different than WHM. Within the confines of just this thread, it was only WHM mana that has been brought up; so the SGE “complaint” was a bit out of left field and irrelevant to what was being discussed.
Back to WHM—It would be nice if the lilies offered mana regen. Would maybe make it a bit more worth it to use them. Or even two charges on Assize would be nice. Yeah, both would likely be blown during buff windows—but for the casual player, they can easily just hold on to a stack for some quick mana regen if they start running low. But perhaps lower level options would be better versus one locked to level 56+. Though, I’d also just take them reverting Thin Air to the way it was. Make it a bit more flexible since it was handy for more than just back to back raising.
whm mp issues and even the lily system i would say need to be looked at.
it was already clear whm will have mp issues identical to pre 50 level stage due to thin air changes, you didn't need to see the future when that change was revealed but doing nothing to prepare for it is pretty blind/lazy developing from the balance and job design team, not including the fact that ast beats whm in every healing advantage/non dps utility aspect known in ff14 right now.
saying the dev/balance/yoshi-p himself actually play the game can be considered fiction in this point of time cause tbh is shocking such unbalanced and undeveloped jobs/traits being released as expansion and actual balance/gameplay issues being ignored and not mentioned is actually done by devs and game producer that actually play their own game.
but i guess its all fine if blm plays well... oh wait he isn't doing enough damage for yoshi-p liking so lets meme him up again like in 5.0 and make him throw every caster and range to the banned list and maybe throw some melee as well in the mix.(sorry nin mains its probably a repeat of 5.0)
Interesting, I'm also a healer main, I have all healers at 90, yet I disagree with you. As a healer I try to heal only when necessary. In some groups, there can be issues, I need to heal more than I should have to, no problem.. I prefer to 'always be casting" and that means that I'm normally DPSing more than healing (ahem, unless I screw up, in which case, well , healer adjust ASAP)
Some of the issues that I've noted, whether its MP management, of button bloat, or (prior to EW) an unresponsive fairy, have nothing whatsoever to my wanting to be a wannabe DPS. I also want more that a single DPS spell, SGE has been more fun for me, that doesn't mean that I don't heal people.
All of this to say that I very surprised to hear that someone who mains a healer would think that all of the feedback from healers just comes from people who want to bypass DF queues or the infamous "only DPS" healer boogeyman.
