FFXIV Girls only discord server

With the prior issues this particular discord has, I'm still heavily wary about it and wouldn't really trust it. There's not been any tangible expression of desire to change for the better as far as I've seen, and criticisms seem to be met with doubling down regardless of the merit which isn't a great sign. Especially since, if a real issue of harassment or the like does crop up there, I don't have faith the team there would be able to responsibly handle it considering the behavior.

That's all I have to say about it, though.

Back in my day, people joined chat (IRC) servers based on shared interests and there were no rules stating who could or could not join (except the 18+ chat which had age restrictions for obvious reasons). There were rules to follow and if you didn't follow them or were a jerk you got kicked and banned. It worked pretty well because the moderators did their jobs.

Because I choose not to go. If women don't want to be seen naked by men I can respect that. However, telling me that I can't enter a social place simply because of my gender rather than being judged by my actions is the definition of sexism.

and I am not either. If men and white people are a majority or not, is simply an irrelevant fact and the principle would be the same regardless of being a majority or not.

All i read is about a place where women tell stories about their abuses. Doesn’t sound like a fun or healthy community. Safe space to bring up drama and emotionally damaging events. Mhm. Sign me right up /sarcasm

Some people work through trauma by talking about it. Others deal with it differently. I'm inclined to suggest that things should be tailored to individual preferences.

I am not interested in joining this pathetic discord server. So, don't worry. What I am not okay with is the blatant sexism against men.
