Let people be mad, white knighting doesn't help things.

True, but we play video games because it's an escape from the real world, and it's a lot easier to enjoy that escape if you get a few days to take your time and go through it at your own pace instead of only being able to do a session of a few hours between the 9-5 grind
Being an adult honestly sucks when it gets in the way of being able to enjoy the things in life that actually make it worth living, whether that be your hobbies or your loved ones
Personally I've been looking forward to basically getting to pretend to be a kid again and spend 5 days straight playing a video game that I really enjoy while not worrying about work obligations
As someone who had booked time off for the game, I have to say that I am a bit sad that it's delayed. But as with everything this past couple years, delays with releases are common so it is understandable. I just hope they're not overworking themselves and getting sick just to finish because the health of the workers is more important than a video game.
I feel for those who had arranged time off and won't be able to reschedule on such short notice.
But I'm very happy that YoshiP is putting giving us the best possible experience over rushing things. Too many game companies recently have done the latter to the disappointment of players.
True, but at the same time some places also have a strict two week window for requesting time off, making today the literal cut off point for those people. Had they done as the person posted that I quoted (as far as I understood it anyway) them going "Yep, our release time will be for the 19" and those that held back for the uncertainty would then be making the complaints. So it would literally be a 'damned if they do, damned if they don't' kind of situation.
I watched this on stream..Yoshi looks exhausted...like he hasnt slept in two days. :(:(
People getting upset because they took time off is a bit silly considering that this IS their job.
For them their involvement is so much deeper on like every single level.
It's not like they're doing it on purpose out of spite or anything.
