Can we get a BLU level skip potion?

True, SCH/AST shields are more a safety strat, especially if the job is 1-50 where they can be one shot if the mob in question attacks them, at 50+ they won't be one shot so it's more efficient to switch to a faster ranged class for the 80.

Ever wondered why you dont get exp if the person is on your party? It's because there's system in place to prevent people from griefing via kill stilling which gives all exp to the first party that tagged it.

What half of the people in this thread is describing is exploiting a game mechanic. No one here actually levels their BLU the way the devs intended it to be leveled. Me included.

So, because you don't like how the tagging system works and want SE to monetize it, you call it an exploit?

P.S: They would have to overhaul the entire tagging system, which would open it up to higher level players trolling lower level players, because the higher level could just walk up and one shot stuff the lower level is farming and deny them EXP. Think about what you're asking for and the negative connotations first

Why would I hate something I benefited from? I'm just saying to give us the option to skip the grind all together.

IDC if the grind is 1 day or 1 hour just give me the option to skip it. I willingly want to pay 30 bucks to skip the grind all together. I never asked to patch the exploit did I?

To call it an exploit rather than using the tagging system in it's intended fashion but beneficially is to raise it in a negative light, the word exploit is used to highlight something as "This is negative", rather than a better term would be, using the mechanics in a beneficial method, yet using potentially unintended side effects, which I don't think it is because SE would have patched that out years ago if it was unintended.

especially when the "answer" to the issue you're raising is monetization rather than I dunno, giving BLUs a better method of gaining exp quicker?

You're literally exploiting a mechanic that's not intended to be used that way otherwise you should be able to get exp if the other person is in your party. As I said before, it's an anti griefing mechanic.

There is no `issue` I just want to skip 1-60 like how i can skip 1-70 on any other job.

So, yes, you do want it nerfed to monetize it, hence why you're still using the word Exploit when SE has made no comment for or against the strategy when it's been around for a while and could've been patched out ages ago.

Edit: And yes, I can see that's what you're doing as you aren't offering up other solutions to increase the speed of the BLU leveling process, i.e access to DD/HoH/Roulettes.

When did I ever ask for it to be nerfed? Exploit is the right word to use here. There's no need to sugar coat it. It's same as slide casting, it's a bug, but it's hard to fix or there's no good solutions and not worth it to patch.

I just want to skip 1-60

If it isn't patched out but known and no intention of being patched out, it's no longer called an exploit but a "Feature"

Asking for them to put in a leveling potion while constantly saying "It's an exploit" is a call for monetization in place of the strategy.

I don't think you know what the verb` exploit` means. You're literally taking advantage of something that's unintended. You can sugarcoat it however you want but at the end of the day it's an unintended `feature` aka a bug.

All I'm asking for is a potion to skip level 1-60.

Wow I'm amazed. Past page has been just us 2 defining what an exploit is.
