Why Do You Play A Lalafell?

Lalafell are Hydaelyn's chosen people. Do we really need another reason?

I like to compare Lalafells (tiny adventurers) with the battle sprites from original FFs (also looked tiny). ^^

Similar thing happened to me. My first FC's leader absolutely despised lalas. Being that we were also a roleplaying FC, I was excluded from most of the events because of it. I never correlated the fact no one in the tiny FC playing one was due to the leaders hating the race by concept, so when I logged in super excited by my new look, I was dealt a deluge of really uncomfortable baby body humor jokes. I am so sorry for what you guys went through. That is so disgusting. I know people joke about lalafells, but I didn't realize some people went that far with their dislike of them. The leader who had his "heart broken" because you changed race....there's so much wrong with that I can't even begin. And being excluded from fc events just because you play the race you want to play is so messed up.

Honestly people should play whatever they want to play. And people who get upset or mad about others playing a certain race seriously need to get a life and a better grip on reality.

It is so sad that racism even exists toward fictional races. Racism, in and of itself, is ugly; but to go one step further, and be hateful to people because they chose a particular set of polygons in a MMO is beyond the pale. The whole concept makes my heart cry.

Anyhow, let's get back on topic. Why do you play a lalafell?

It's single handedly got me levelling WAR, just need to find 3 other lalas on my server to do this with as a group. Have a friend who would do the red mage but they might be leaving QQ

As much as I tend to joke about Lalafell, they always tend to make me smile with the emotes/actions they have. Though I wouldn't wish this sort of treatment that happened to you. Sounds like they either took their 'character' very seriously or they're just really unpleasant to hang around with, probably the latter if it ended up making you leave. I'm glad you're doing much better now though.

What's even more shameful is that no-one else in the FC called out the leader on that behaviour, and tolerated it... well in both FCs really. I'm really sorry Amatrine and Aronys you were subjected to such treatment, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Kacho, I definitely agree that playing Lalafel does keep you feeling young :D I will post more about it later, left time really short.. again!

Zoloft doesnt brighten anyone up it just bluntens mood, not even numbs it just constricts the extremes both ways.

The only thing Zoloft and Lallafels have in common for myself is neither will ever give me a boner.
