Final Predictions: Who shall die in 4.0

Which is actually the biggest piece of evidence for her surviving this: Whats the point of having that if she instead is going to die to something completely different? The only reason to really believe she dies here is if we actually saw her ability to use magic (and her life in general) weakening by this point.

They're more than hints, Matoya pretty much confirmed it the first time we went to her cave with Y'Shtola. She said using the aether around her to see was slowly chipping away at her life.

Gosetsu and Yugiri, one of those two will probably sacrifice themselves for their master (Hien.)

Well looking at the predictions/wishlists Alphinaud's days are numbered.

Raubahn is perfect target. We all love him, he is close friend to the WoL and Ul'dah can carry on without him. I will also be mad if that happens. Most shocking would be Tataru and I think it will generate instant hate points to whoever killed her. If they off someone, I trust it will be someone we already know or at least built some kind of emotional connection to.

I doubt it will be Alphinaud or Alisaie. Alisaie just joined us and I feel like the expansion is meant to be more focused on her like how Heavensward was more focused on Alphinaud, hence why we see her more in the trailer.

Let our WoL decide who must die! Always obediently and blindly the foe following what others will say, now it is the time to make a decision. There are times you cannot save everyone, and you must take your path.

I think Y'shtola is a red herring, she survives and every other Scion dies.

Oh I agree. Even though her death hurt when it happened I was able to get over it because it made sense in that situation. We simply could not have survived the ship attack without her sacrifice. So without her there we would be death. With Haurchefant they could have gone so many other ways (for example making him hurt really much and put him into coma for some patches, this would still create some drama and tension) yet they choose a way which makes me feel stupid. Not only do we not notice something flying towards us (how did we survive the thordan fight later or even the vault dungeon?) but after he said something and we notice it, we have more than enough time to react..yet we stand there completely frozen..and then we watch how he struggles with it..this for me makes it a useless death which is only there for drama. And I hate such deaths. Especially since it changed nothing at all. We should have been able to react fast enough to jump out of the way so it would not have killed us and other than having a new head at the camp his death did not change anything in the overall story. That is probably the reason why I cant get over his death, which is the first time in all those years that this happens.

So I hope that if you kill off someone from the main cast that it will be more alike to Ysayle and not like Haurchefant..

I believe (and hope) that the twins will survive. Especially since many in this thread hope for his death.

My guess is that Y'shtola will be gravely wounded by Xenos but then saved by Matoya who gives all her life force to save Y'shtola. It'll be epic and we'll all cry over it.
