We Need Beast Master Job in FF14 ARR

The most logical evolution would be a tanking pet class now. To which a beast master would fit perfectly.

Just because no tank job has a pet doesn't make a tanking pet job "logical", but to be fair, it could be done. The unique mitigation component would be damage redirection, transfering 15% or so of all damage to the pet, and then have one of their ability combos come with a pet heal and cleanse and a cooldown for a pet full heal.

The only real issue is that the pet would then just be an afterthought, much like the MCH turrets, because with all the stuff you have to manage as a tank, why on earth would you add managing a pet on top of that?

Hullbreaker Isle (Hard) has Limsan Beastmasters

if beast master weapon is whip and your skill is dex plus the bard and mach armor you get indiania jones look alike

I was thinking about the best weapon for BTM, Dagger in mind shouldn't be the BTM weapon. I still think a Staff would be a good idea.
Someone did mention a Whip. That would be interesting but I could say as being used to give commands more than everything. Lol like a ring master lol.

the whip has been orignal beast master weapon for ff tactics. in ffxi they add the tomhawk.

staff is white mage or black mage.

dagger is rogues.



Bst should ether whip or tomhawk.

truth if it a whip it give leather worker a weapon they craft they have no weapon to craft.

Except that they wont. We weren't even supposed to get Dark Knights in 3.0, we were originally supposed to get Samurai, which Yoshi has stated numerous times, but because they couldn't get it to work with Ishgard they changed it to Dark Knight instead.

I would rather see new fresh jobs or at least better iconic jobs first like Red and Blue Mages, Dancer or Samurai.
