I would also like to point out in defense of the "EU sales are different than JP and US sales" argument, that particularly with the JP market sales for HW will be FAR higher than sales for ESO simply due to the fact that Final Fantasy is a Japanese game, while the Elder Scrolls series is based out of America. Traditionally speaking, American games sell very poorly in the JP market when compared to Japanese games, while Japanese games, (the ones that are actually imported anyhow), sell almost as well, if not as well, as American games in the NA market. This is because for a long time, JP games were the best story based games we could get in NA, while American games were typically relegated to mindless shooters with only the barest hints of story. This has changed over time of course, (and for the better), but the impact those earlier days had still is evident in sales numbers. I can't particularly speak as to whether the EU market is the same as the NA market, however.....
