Dev, please confirm MCH buffs before Alexander release?

Wild fire barely breaks 5k now. nice adjustment/fix wildfire was one of are hardest hitting move now it lost a lot of dmg
stance dancing is no longer an option during fights.

if any mch didn't abandon the class already they will be doing that now

edit: kept trying but just barely hit 6k on a rotation opener for wildfire now takes a lot more effort and hopeful for crits to hit higher numbers. overall seems to been hit by big defense wall almost. where's before I almost always had a 6k+ opener and maybe even more.

If you go to the main Forum page (on a computer; not sure if it shows up on a mobile device), on the right-hand side of the page you should see a column of posts labeled "Dev Tracker". These are ALL posts by English-speaking representatives of SE. At the moment I write this, the Dev Tracker is filled mostly with entries regarding the Heavensward FC Recruitment Video contest BUT it is not at all unusual to see them directly addressing player concerns.

Something to bear in mind, though, Devs don't respond to ALL player concerns for several very good reasons. They will only respond if they a. know the answer, b. are allowed to share the answer, and c. are reasonably sure that the answer won't cause a flame war to erupt. My guess right now, on the topic of machinist, there are NO plans currently in place to change Machinist. So, they say nothing, because answering would cause c. (and likely also because of b.).

Why are there no plans? They may have other, higher priorities at the moment. They may feel (possibly correctly) that players have not yet stumbled upon the best way to utilize the job. Or, it's possible that there ARE plans, but SE is still testing them and doesn't want to prematurely get folks hopes up in the event that those changes don't work out.

There's no harm in posting one's grievances to the forums. The devs DO read a lot of them (not all - there's only so many of them, and they have other jobs than just reading the forums all day long). Just because you don't see a response, though, doesn't necessarily mean that the devs aren't reading, or don't care.

I dont feel like leveling another class, this makes me not even want to play...soon healers will outdamage us as well

Do you think that even in the JP forums, the devs there are bringing every tidbit directly to Yoshi P's doorstep? Of course not. They have a chain of command, just the same as on this side of the pond.

As for comparing to Western MMOs, I doubt that it's any different. While I don't know who the director of World of Warcraft is, I find it hard to believe that he or she personally addresses every thread on the Blizzard forums either. It might be possible for smaller MMOs with less-active forums, but for large-scale games like WoW or FFXIV it's simply not possible to bring every issue straight to the top.

The forum monitors pick and choose what they pass up the line, both in the English Forums and those of other languages. Sometimes they even tell us that they've done so:

There's likely a lot of stuff that gets reported without actually telling the players, though. The forum monitors likely write up periodic reports regarding the general playerbase climate, concerns the players have, stuff that players particularly liked, that kind of thing. It's speculation on my part, but it makes sense; only a dev could say for certain what their business processes are, and it's likely that they're not allowed to talk too much about those processes.

In the previous progression run from Bahamut raid, TP song/ MP song was necessary that is why every party need a bard or two.

If they make it so that the whole party gonna lack TP/MP again then, MCH and BRD will be needed regardless of their low dps.

brd does more damage and restores more mp to boot, mch support is inferior

MCH are already being booted from dungeons/ex primals.

They're also not even being welcomed in.

They're getting flamed.
