It's a fact nobody wants to have to pay more money for a product in this case a game. The thing is the way companies make money a lot of money on games these days involves micro transactions. We are in the dlc / mobile in app purchase / micro transaction game era where companies are expected to make supplemental income on optional content and that isn't going to change any time soon. Back in the 80s and 90s when you bought a Nintendo game and you got the whole game for the purchase price that really doesn't exist anymore because almost everything now has micro transactions. You will be hard pressed to find any recent mmo that doesn't have a cash shop even if they do have a subscription.
Making all these forum topics about how you don't like them isn't going to make them go away. The damage has already been done enough people buy into micro transactions that it makes companies a large enough profit that they will continue to exist in almost every video game.
