Every MMO does this has nothing to do with casual player skill or how good you are you pick a character you play it and its your own potential that makes the character.

Different game, right when I seen chains I knew you were comparing it to FFXI and simple is good cause if it was complicated I wouldn't be playing I played Tera controls were so horrid I uninstalled after playing for 2 minutes.

People don't quit because of this, though I do agree that there is no way people can recover from a tank or a healer wiping kinda screwing the others because makes them feel useless.
Same with T5 the dive bombs wipe out healers or tanks but if you recover and weakened during the explosion nobody still survives it has to be done 100% perfect and not worth it after 50+ deaths for what one item you might not get and story which will turn players away from doing that again.

Na I think this is good, the game needs more things that are drawn out which should take longer than they should, its the outside world things they need to have in order to keep people interested while they are locked out.

FFXI took years to get Relic weapon, FFXIV a shorter time, you want something that's gonna be worth it in the end work for it, you don't get it handed to you and if people quit cause of this then they shouldn't even play MMO.
