First expansion pack and new race

You know... I am sure this will not be the popular opinion; but I feel like the desire for a Vierra race could easily be satisified if they introduce more "femme" styling and armor for the already existing races. (Ahem, Miqo'te)

Maybe I am wrong; but I feel like what most people are looking for when they say they want the Vierra race is the hyper-femme styling that the Vierra are mostly associated with? (i.e. Long hair, always wearing "heels".)

Again, I could be wrong - but just a thought? I'm certainly not an expert in the Vierra race but I feel like when I think about who they are more superficially I think about their styling and appearance. I for one would not be opposed to more gender-specific gear designs but I know the pendulum has swung both ways within the community when that was a topic of discussion. (And I certainly wouldn't complain if they did introduce the Vierra into this world... for the record.)


I'd really like to see a totally new beastman race that is a little less humanoid. It would probably require a ton of new armor designs so I don't know how likely that is but I think it would create an interesting balance in Eorzea?

The main sex/race I see running around are female miqo'tes. We don't need another race that guys will pick just to look at their backside. I'd much rather get some sort of monster/beast tribe creature that doesn't even look human.

what race are the people in gridania? the child like ones with the horns, the leader of the CNJ's guild, the WHM NPCs and the leader of Gridania are all of a different race.. it could be that one?

I tend to avoid MMOs with ugly races in them. Even rift I's have played if it didn't have characters that look like that.
I really think we should let this be decided by Akihiko Yoshida and him alone.

The horned kids are just the blessing child of the nature goddess. Its just a religious feature.

The horned NPCs are called Padjal. I'm pretty sure that they're their own race.

They're beings that have been gifted/chosen by the elementals. The cost is, they literally cannot leave the black shroud.
