First expansion pack and new race

Hello everyone.I think we all heard about new upcoming race in first expansion pack.But we have no information what will it be.Only we are know year ago demi beastman race (viera) won vote.No doubt Viera one of the popular race,and many of us would be happy see viera race in game,including me.But Yoshi-P said bunny male would be looks a bit weird lol so might be they will make something differend,something never seen before.I think it doesn't matter what they will add,matter is hope they will make that right PLus he said something about dragons as well,not sure how they will can be a s a playable race in game

My guess is either Vierra (for the reason it won the vote and been flooded with requests for it on the forum.
Or a beast tribe race (for the reason that what YoshiP said he'd like to add).

Personally I'm fine with current races and would like more character customization like sizes, weight, more height options etc...

I think i remember yoshi-p saying they wont add Vierra due to the fact that they have to make a male version. There just too much issue with that race to be added but who knows yoshi-p love changing his mind to make people happy sometimes.

I honestly wouldn't care as much for a new race as I would for new classes.

I'd rather they focus on more classes/jobs than races atm. The selection of races we have seems alright for now.

Vierra are dull. Even moreso with Miqote around.
The 'beast' races everyone seems to go for are ugly.

If they add a new race, just create something new, beautiful, and alien-looking.

I completely agree, and I wish it wasn't the normal bipedal humanoid. I want something like Domingo from Shining Force.

I loved that game....and Domingo was pretty strong. Always had him in my groups.

Well i am agree about in game already have beast type race and woyld be nice if they will add something new,and about class/job ,well we will see of course and first class/job will add before first expansion pack if yoshi didn't lie....

We don't need a new race, o wait it's not new and it's just some more fan service /vomit. Why Vieras should be on Eorzea it's just stupid imo.

If they really want to add a NEW race so they have to create one for Eorzea i'm bored to see stuffs from other games and seriously we have already the Miqo'te for the "kawaii" stuff/pose/animations/boobs, i liked Vieras in ff12 but damn why here??!!

They should focus on important things and ya, talking about races we NEED more customization for everyone.

Edit : i don't want to imagine the male version of Vieras....
