Bard Nerfs Offically Confirmed

I want a refund for the 2 months worth of tomes spent on the brd. where do i apply?

Have you guys played mmos before?

Real question time: did you pick bard because you thought you would be most wanted in parties, or be the highest damage?

Be honest here. If so, then you should get used to the fact that FOTM changes.

If not, then why do you even care?

Bard is not suddenly going to become unplayable.

All of a sudden its not going to become that if you took bards to Coil before, you will refuse all bards now.

Jesus christ, you guys make it sound like what they're going to do to bard is break your bow in half and make you melee or something.

No need to be rude, and it doesn't look like you've killed titan yet, much less stepping into coil

The problem is BARD DPS in coil is lower then BLM SMN and MNK. So there is no need to nerf it. Im currenty on twintania,and we parser every fight from day 1 untill. Bard is not the best dps, BLM is the best ranged, SMN is on par of BLM + has mobility and MNK is the strongest dps of the game... thats why i will not accept a nerf based on the whining in the forum.

hey I wouldn't mind smacking enemies with guitars go el kabong on them or choking them with the harp strings

oh please. that doesn't mean i dont know sht about this game and bard. u know that all the points I've pointed out are valid.

I had bard @ 50 from 1.x... I didn't level up bard so I can have it easy. It is my main job because I love archer/ranger/bard. I really don't care about the nerf, I will still play bard. I hope this nerf will discourage some of the garbage bards to level something else.

To be honest, bards don't have it easy... bards can really make tank and mages easier to work with their TP and MP not to mention added bonus of DPS.

I have seen too many bards who cannot function... mostly with relic too.

I don't think bards are overpowered.. I just think they are in demand.

they do low dps when compared to a SMN or a BLM.

I don't know about him but I picked bard because bows are my favorite weapon to use in rpg games. I didn't care for the support role of the class but considering how it was tuned with the subclass change, I was fine with it because it was something I could do, not a focus. I didn't pick the class to be peoples' pocket silence which is apparently what people wanted and is now going to happen.
