The Aery (Wtf story)
Me and bf lvling new jobs AGAIN and we're on ts. Get into Aery everything is all rainbows and sunshine UNTIL after first boss my bf tells me he has to afk quickly. Ok I inform others in pt(because he rarely does it, I'm his secretary for some reason) and we wait 2 mins. Then I see Vote kick being cast on my bf, I'm like wtf I told them in /p that he had to afk couple mins(I even checked it that I said it at this point). Kick doesn't go through, wait 1min and WHM says "Bb" and leaves.

Pharos Sirius (funny story)
I que up on my alt on Ex roulette and get Pharos, I say "Hello" no one responds Okay quiet party then. Everything goes well but then our MCH gets stuck on a wall. Tank already pull trash and he had to pull them back enough so MCH could hit them too. After we killed the trash we ask how the hell did he get stuck, at this point we didn't believe he was stuck. He didn't know and we all ran into same point he did and got stuck. Yep... It's a legit thing, you can get stuck.
I log to my main, tell this to my bf, he doesn't believe me. Que to Ex roulette, we get Pharos, I show him the spot and run with him to wall and get stuck. Laugh our asses off on TS.

All of my "wat" experiences lately have been specifically about tanks and for some reason SV (NM and HM). Both while playing healers.

NM: DRK, reasonably geared. After the first pull he apologies for being a lil rusty. I honestly didn't notice, it's just the first pull. He wasn't amazing at cool downs, but it was his first real tank so no big. My annoyance was that this run took forever. We had no wipes, but were nearly there an hour because he kept stopping. When we finally get to the last boss, he's just sitting there for a while. Then he says that he needs all his mp for this fight. Sir, do you mean to tell me that you have been waiting in-between pulls for mp this entire dungeon? Do you not know about blood price???

HM: PLD, fresh tank i90 gear with some 110 jewelry. I didn't notice anything odd about this tank until he actually started taking damage. He dropped like a rock. Then I look at his HP, it's like 1590. My buddy ninja is sitting at 1560. How the heck does this tank have so low HP!? I look closer at his gear: half of his jewelry is strength and the other is intelligence. W.T.F.

Didn't wipe on either of these, happily enough. But oh goodness that last one was just...dang. I did advise he needed to get some different jewelry. I suspect that his bonus wasn't in vit either *shudder*

...sudden urge to run into said wall. Must resist. D:

Had an hour 15 minute void run last night. We wiped at least once to every boss, and DPS was sloooow as molasses. I think half the raid was replaced at the third boss.. both healers left one of the alliances, so one wipe was a tank pulling before they got replacements..

Only one person had the map completion achievement at the end, so "new to raid" isn't really an excuse. People kept utterly failing at mechanics, even when reminded. Kill adds? Naw. Get out of aoes? What are you, crazy? One of the tanks, who wasn't even the designated main tank, left grit on.. So he'd pull hate from the MT every now and then, but not try to maintain it, so we had ping ponging bosses on top of everything else. Of course, this mean cleaves and aoes kept landing on most of the alliance.

I went in with a partial alliance, and our DF DPS were pretty meh. There was a dragoon that got hit by every aoe (cleansed so many concussions off..), a monk that liked aoe circles (so many instant full hp>dead instances that I checked to make sure he was wearing appropriate gear.. unless it was broken), and a bard that of course liked aoes, never used WM, and left Mage's Ballad on. Our monk and dragoon at least knew how to avoid the stomp behind the tree.. our bard ate it twice (because of course, wipes). I wouldn't be surprised if they were hitting the boss that had immunity..

Though apparently another alliance had DPS that were only auto attacking. Our crappy bard at least kept the MP up on my friend, so he kept foes up the whole time..

my tuesday void ark was a nightmare as well...was like an hour long run (no card minion or coffin drop either rip) but like we had a wipe almost every single boss...people leaving...people doing stupid shit..people not covering their section in the second part. ONE BARD IN PARTICULAR COULDN'T DODGE AT ALL! THE RED SPOTS ARE NOT STRAWBERRY FLAVORED!

I had a pretty awful Void Ark run the other day, too. Went in as whm with a tank, drg, and healer from my fc.

First boss, someone with the divebomb mark just sits directly in the center of the map. Half of one alliance goes down, most of another goes down, and mine loses two. I spend half the fight raising other people because adds aren't dying and people are standing in all of the floor candy.

Second boss is a disaster. Our smn is consistently attacking the mob with immunity to magic (even after I told him it was immune!), adds aren't dying, people are dying to stomp, people are bringing mucus bombs into the middle of groups of people, and so many people got eaten that we hit the enrage (some of them got eaten because they got mucus bombed and no one broke the tether as well...). We wipe a second time because alliance A's tank bails after the pull (heck, I think he was the one that pulled)...so sawtooth goes wild and starts wrecking people. Finally kill it, somehow.

We get to squid guy and my fc mates are taking bets on whether we can even clear it. We've lost a bunch of people at this point, and I once again end up spending half the fight raising people who are dying to, well, everything. Somehow clear it with half the alliance dead, then somehow manage to one shot the last boss too. It was a mess.

On the plus side I finally got the healer chest piece I'd been trying to get since last week. :p

Oh, speaking of enrage, did you guys know the third boss goes batshit crazy if the towers aren't killed fast enough? Yeah.. That was a thing.

I had to have what had to be the coolest group last night. I was in the Great Gobby Liberry getting some experience to try and hit 60. I messed up the first two bosses. I slid into the book and got stuck and died during the first ice floor. They tried so hard and almost killed it. And then on the second boss, I just spaced out and stood there and took a ball to the face and it was a clear shot too. We then spent the next few minutes trying to sit it up. Cause everytime a wind would start when we almost got it. We had 6 stacks of the debuff by the time we finally knocked him off. But the group I was with was so cool and just laughed it off. The final boss went smoothly though. I wish I could have given everyone a com for that.

As a fellow summoner I have a question. Do you ever get odd responses for casting raise? During my first time though the vault I was actually thanked by the group for helping raise people, and a couple of remarks at how odd it was to see a SMN actually help. I found this odd as it was something I've done since 2.0 launch and was a bit confused to find it so rare. I figure I have more mana to burn and would rather lessen the load the healers have to deal with if I can help. (Though lately I seem to end up face down shortly after each res...)

I've been running Library all day to get my heals to 60 and had a fair number of summoners...I'd say one every other run. Only one SMN used raise to spare my bottoming MP. Even them, his raise macro was "I'm a dps, not a healer!" I lol'd.

My horror story was the tank today who said he was rusty after a four month break. Proceed to facepull every single enemy then wondered why he wasn't holding hate without using flash or circle of scorn.

This was the Great Gubal Library.

Had an interesting beginning to the Arboretum...
It's me (BRD), SMN, AST, and PLD. We walk up to the first mob, tank pulls. I start Foe's and start AoEing down the stuff. Pretty much immediately all mobs the tank isn't focusing on fly away towards me or the SMN. Fine okay......... then the next pull the tank pulls quite a bit, so... okay more AOE then? He can't keep the hate again.
And then again the next pull, I concentrate on his enemy only yet still the monster comes to say hi. :(
Then after that pull the tank just stands there. No words or anything (also the only one not to say hi). He was at least ilvl 195, too so not terrible.
So we all sit down and wait for the tank to move... meh

Eventually an FC friend comes on and they're willing to tank so we decide to dismiss him and keep going.
