Power-leveling is absolutely BROKEN

Not really if new players join and they can't find a party how would they get level up soloing? or pay for powerlevel? you can't have a game from start be a powerlevel fest maybe 5-8 years down the road. You could add EXP rings, other means of leveling up that does not make players sit there afk do noting and get max level. For that why don't they just give us 1 free max level from day 1.

Paying for PL? The community here is far too nice for that. LS's eat up new players and nurse them into strong flapperbooters.

When there is an actual influx of new players then people will have more players to party with. Right now, the game is still in "FFXIV? THAT GAME SUX LOL" status with the majority of the gamerbase. Add that in with the game not having any official means of digital download and you have a low new player influx.

Leveling should be long enough to learn your class but short enough as to now overstay it's welcome.

before 1.18 i got 33-44 lancer by partying 36-50 pug partying try to do that now? everyone is powerlevel and doing stronghold. You can powerlevel someone to 1-35ish then take them to the stronghold and they get over 1+k exp.

There is a big influx of new players on my server most of them solo and most of them being powerlevel i saw a full party of low level 22-34 being powerlevel by a 50conj by the NM that drop pld legs.

In other room there was 1 person powerlevel someone else then 2-3 other people who are 50 powerlevel 3 players. Why would people make party if you can be PL ? sadly this is a issue you can't have everyone reach 50 within the first few days of there game life.

I would love to have more players around my level but at the end it would mess up the game.

I can't say I share this problem? All of my leveling sessions have been in grind parties since the patch.

Also, afaik NMs don't give exp.

The rest of the mobs in the stronghold does and at 44 when i was doing it got my level within 20min getting 1k per mob.

You know you could make an ls thats pt only, no powerleveling, wear sexy lingerie at night, whatever your heart desires. And recruit people that has those interests. You don't need to make the game to be pt only. Just create an ls. Same way casuals can make their ls, endgame can have their ls, wow style jump can have their ls.

Ya that sound good but when everyone find out that pl is faster they would only want that way. Sorry but once again it break the game you can't have everyone who join the game get 50 within 3-4days of gameplay. Or even if it take 1week for a casual it still not ok and it break the game.

This is where the infinite loop seems to arise, as still no one has given a valid reason as to how this breaks the game, and please don't bother replying with the same post you keep making, as this conversation has circled round and round since page 3 of this thread.

I just do not see how people power levelling is affecting your gameplay.

i don't or never will powerlevel, so here's one person. I'm probably not the only person either. There are all kinds of ppl who play mmos. Just cause some will doesn't mean everyone will.

If the opinion stays 50/50 on this issue, I might be so bold to suggest separate servers. That way all us apparently elitist pricks can go play the game the way we enjoy it and others can go play the game the way they enjoy it. Sure the developmental overhead would be a bit greater, but it's a compromise. Choices, right?

And I say this before a rep even replies. I'm still eagerly awaiting their response.
