well i'm sure they're going to tweak it if people are on here complaining, they should do a survey on this to see if the masses honestly care, because we're a small percentage of the player base in FFXIV. To me it doesn't bother me because even though it may come out as wowish, the FF franchise has always been different especially in the MMO world.

I respectfully disagree. Most of these people don't just cry, they have a point. Quoting them serves the purpose of understanding our position as spherically as possible.

No, a person that makes a suggestion thread quoting people that support his suggestion does not in any way say nor imply that everyone is in favour of his suggestion. I also don't think that the average person here is that simple. They understand that a suggestion thread includes quotes that support that suggestion, and that's it.

followed by good quotes for the other side, anyone that has taken a writing course particularly analytical writing, prereq at my uni. You learn to write a good persuasive paper you point out points for both sides while still promoting yours is better. In the end you don't come off as someone forcing their opinion down someones throat by blindsiding them with 1 sided bias in the first post. It makes you come of more reasonable because it shows that you took the time to read opposing viewpoints posts and let people come to there own conclusion.

On top of that your OP is now so long no one wants to read the rest of the thread because it feels like all the posts are in the original post with no context to the conversation being held on the page causing the post to be proffered to us the readers.
