Highlanders are not supposed to have eyebrows. It's in the lore. Little reason to snip back at the person just because they shared their opinion. At least they gave a reason other than "I want to spite all the male viera supporters!"or something. Let's try to keep it respectful even if we don't agree with someone's opinion, yeah?

You have your right not to suppor it, and we shouldn't advertise anything to gain more support, this is simply to show SE is worth it, which has already been done, now we can only wait for 2 years sadly.

Also, it kinda surprises me though. Female higlanders (what you are playing) were obtained by a thread like this

You don't need to support it, much like no one needed to support the addition of female highlanders to the game, but some people did anyway.

As to why people want it, it's because they would like to see what the males look like and play them. Paying customers requesting a feature from a developer is not "whining". There was some behaviour which did verge on whining, or worse, but that's limited to a minority.

FYI, the whole "You're only playing Fem Highlander/Fem Roe/etc because people protested" only matters if you assume they wouldn't be comfortable playing any other race and gender.

The "I'll die/unsub if I can't play X race and Y gender" population is an extremely tiny minority.

I see the childish "I don't like something, so I want other people to be unhappy" crowd has reared its ugly head again. The only ones I see whining this late in the thread is them.

If female highlander/roegadyn were not added, then yeah, maybe people would play as another race. However, I do still think there's merit in pointing out that the race they are currently playing (and it probably being their preferred race since they picked that one) would not be there if people did not request it.

I do find it a bit strange that this thread is being held to a different standard than other request threads. Usually, you don't have people asking for a convincing reason to support an emote or new furnishing item in a thread requesting those.

The same can be seen in social media as soon as male Viera are mentioned. Very sad behaviour. I don't understand how it is so upsetting for some people that there are players that want to play as female Hrothgar or male Viera. Especially since there is no real lore reason that would hinder the implementation of both.

I will gladly give the devs all the time they need to create both missing genders.
