Would you be opposed to SE implementing a program to scan for addons/parsers?

Well Gshade just seems to be another reason for me to enjoy the game without add-ons. Sucks for everyone who had it though. Wonder how this will now affect things going forward

People will forget and install WhateverShade pops up next. Some will ask whether it is safe, a remote friend of them will tell them it is, so they'll install it.

Although I would argue that the fact there was that much of a mess, as soon as this (the thing appeared in the latest patch, which is, as I understand it, a few days old) proves that there are enough people that know their s*** in this community to protect the others. So hey, I'd say, from an outsider point of view, that seems pretty good actually.

I think the best part in all this is that it boils down to one dude being butthurt because his ego couldn't handle being outdone by a 16-year-old. I truly hope the teenager in question decides to be a programmer, because they clearly have a bright future in it.

Why do they need to do anything about it? They arent responsible for what mods people install and it seems the community is quite capable of handling this situation themselves.
