Today I saw a archer in Weeping City of Mhach. Had several gear 270, but was playing as archer, not as bard...
Anyway, I leave after kill Arachne Eve because I saw a big spider irl in my room, and I got busy killing that thing.

Here's a summary of my thought processes on that first attempt of the Bismarck run:
Dragonkillers #1: Well, these healers are doing nothing but standing around casting regens. I'm sure they're not too busy to grab dragonkillers- okay, they're not moving, let me try- nvm, Bismarck's shot them out.
Dragonkillers #2: AoE on me, move move move! Oh hey, dragonkillers are up, let's sprint over there- nvm, Bismarck's hit em up again.
Dragonkillers #3: Right, this time I got it... aaaand someone else got to the dragonkiller next to me before I could, that's fine, except everyone's ignoring the dragonkiller on the other side of the island now. Yay.
I don't mind having to do mechanics if the healers or anyone else are new and unfamiliar with the fight. That said, they need to speak up and say they're new before I can do anything to help. I'm not psychic and I don't know what another person's thinking if they don't say anything. And if someone actively tries to offer advice and is met with silence because newbies can't be bothered to speak up, there's only so much you can do.
Oh of course, still doesn't justify laziness on those who SHOULD do it though. Usually if I need to do similar on my DRG I make sure to be VERY vocal about it to my healers.
WC run, all but 4 of us died. MT, a healer, and 2 DRGs. Clutched the last 6% for the clear... but I only got 2 comms ;-;
Reminds me of this PLD from the same data center but different server .Everytime I met him in DF I seriously contemplate leaving immediately but I persisted. Last DF encounter was in Xelp, where he did the mass pull that is the norm these days. Except that he only flashed once, and proceed to do his Royal Authority combo only..... first Flare from me resulted in 1-2 reds and all yellows. Subsequent flares always end with me getting aggro despite me cycling targets...
I am always like, fine, slightly slower run than usual; the healer is dps-ing and keeping the tank up, mnk's look decently geared. It's only until the first boss that I realized the dps is a helluva slower than what I usually encountered.... then I observed the mnk wasn't even doing positionals, only moving when an AOE is on him... 2nd boss, Royal PLD decide to pull the boss all the way to corner after I started my opener -_- and mnk decide to drop the first tornado directly on me and subsequently everywhere in the arena..... Last boss... God, that's the first time I see Garuda getting summoned nearly 4 times...
I mess up constantly. I've got every class on level 60, so I play them interchangeably, and I don't know any of them 100%, and even the one I raid with I could be absolutely perfect at if I paid 100% attention at any given time. I can admit when I really screw up, though. I've casually wiped plenty parties, most of my deaths are nothing but my own fault most of the time (a static legend: Lahen and her inability to keep left and right apart, for example). I learn most mechanics by accident, or trial and error - memory's fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure basically every first time 50 and HW dungeon were nightmares from my side in any regard.
Queued RF for sophex around 2 weeks ago as a WAR and got a very decent pt except PLD who didn't know about sword oath's existence. He kept outaggroing me when I voked sophia off him after tankbuster with his shield oath(I always change back to deliverance after finishing butcher's block). This happened around 2 times until he snapped at me. I told him he should've changed to sword oath immediately but he replied "it doesn't make any difference". We trashtalked for a bit then I got out of duty.
A week later, I entered a9s learning group via party finder as a MNK hoping to help only to find this very same guy in pt as a DRG who didn't have any idea how the fight works and had either 1 or 2 fending accessory equipped. So the rest of dps had to risk breaking our backbone to carry his butt through Faust Z. After we entered Refurbisher 0 arena, I reminded him about that sophia fight and how wonderful his shield oath was. But he mocked me back and changed the story from him using shield oath to sword oath and outaggro me. After a few more arguments, I lost my motivation when I learned he's the only one who needed to learn the fight in pt and left. I'd say I sabotaged his learning pt I guess which is totally worth it, judging from how big of a liar he is ;w;
