That was brilliant, you had every right to leave that party if anyone treats you like that.
There has been a few people I've bumped into that's very similar in terms of being abusive or just not being helpful at all, just getting into a Duty Finder that has helpful people all round is rare enough.

I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.

Although I think this is great from a "you showed them" point of view, it only breeds more anger and disrespect in the long run.

I duno why people are so aggressive in this game all the time though, its really bizarre. I can understand getting fed up wiping all the time but some of the abuse you get instantly before even trying a fight or after the first try is absurd.

The real ffxiv community will still be here in the next couple of months. we just have to grit our teeth and bear with the guys who are only playing while the game is new. Rift had to deal with it, swtor had to deal with, tera had to deal with it, and now ffxiv has to.

This has to be a problem exclusive to endgame content because my experiences leveling up with the DF have been great so far. Even when my group has wiped countless times and we've been forced to give, there have been no hard feelings, no name calling, no blaming others. But from I've heard from friends in the FC, it is pretty bad @ 50.

Yeah! Let's show those rude people what we can do, like being one ourselves by griefing them! Way to go OP! Woo-hoo!

The most annoying thing are those ppl who expect everyone to have constantly been playing since release, who knows everthing and trash us casual players who actually have other priorities in life. In 1.0 and FFXI the community was awesome, helpful and wanted noobs to have a good time with the game.

You should have leave at 10%, they probably kill it at 5% anyway because it possible at 5% without a Tank. Your plan probably backfire and they probably win the fight and now celebrating and still become an Elitist Jerks they are and have not learn their lesson yet. I could be wrong, they could wipe but high chance that they didn't. I can't believe people like this exist in this game, they need to go back to Wow, seriously.

Same here - no bad experiences in low level DF so far... but then I guess all the elitists that might be prone to verbal or written violence should be 50 by now ;)

This is an example at it's best.. Now we have a good game but a broken community.. I already left the ship for few days. It's getting too much.. At least the community was one of the best things about FF Online...
