I think their point was that if you divide the Damage by the delay it comes out to 28.29 DPS, not 41.95

EDIT: And yes, like a poster below me said, Arrows is where the difference comes from.

116+56(Cobalt Arrows)=172 ~ 172/4.1=41.95

How bout those necrosphype and other materials you needed to gather to finish your weapons final stage? If anything these weapons are pretty much mini-relics in terms of aquiring them.

You need currency (Consistant gain) and Rare/EX items (RNG God items) to complete them. Please...please don't say they are nothing alike.

While I agree the weapons should be handled a bit differently or at least give the tokens a better drop rate, it's far from impossible and not as time consuming as many are making it out to be.

That probably because arrows dont have a 0 damage rating...

Wow thankyou finally some1 understands what I have been trying to say. I post posted a bunch of times that this is spammable content with 1 goal and that it never cganges it is always the same thing time and time again. If the devs would have designed the dungeons, primals and hamlets with that in mind it would make the grind better.

Considering most damage on BRD comes from Light Shot, it's not that bad...

Stats are pretty meh except maybe BLM staff. :( Everything else will only do slighty better than primals.

Yes, its decent if you crits alot because crits isn't reliable most of the times except for the every 1min blindsides (unless of course the DRG crit buff from last patch is very noticeable, which i havent got around playing). Obviously it's a decent improvement from Garuda's but is it worth the grind?

Spending couple more millions is diff than investing tens of hours of your life. These relics didnt make me wet my pant as much as darklight gears did.

Considering these weapons will probably be upgradeable in the future, yes they're worth it. Either way this is Final Fantasy the game of 1% upgrades. FF11 was no better for a long time. If your entire group has them it adds up.

I think what i meant is, there is no rush in doing it asap snce upgrade wont be at near future, one of the thing that i'd take my time doing it and upgrade prolly wont come until level cap raise which is really long time away.

I'm excited to see how the Hamlet changes are going to affect the rates. Would it be easier to obtain now, considering that if you get 60k+, it's 100% guarantee for the highest chest....

Just coming back after quite some time I'm like "Sweet, can't wait to figure out what Castrum Novum involves". As it just came out, I am sure people don't know, but I'm already terrified at what people will need to do.

Anyone that has the promissary note that can update us on what the next step is for getting the relics?

My feelings are a bit mixed, some of the weapons (mage in particular) seem like a rare boss drop equippable for a level 60+.
Something feels a bit off adding in relic weapons to what is right now a pseudo-endgame.

I m wondering if JP forum also complain it like this side too. Since Yoshida trend to hear the JP voice more.

So, the next stage of the quest asks you to get your respective class weapon. (Rampager, Mailbreaker, etc.)

You need to kill final boss of one of the strongholds, depends on your job, and you need to double meld T4 materia.

I just double melded my Avengers, now I just need to kill Flamefist. Will update what Gerolt says to do after that.

When you say... double meld T4... are you talking class specific weapon only or.... anything...

You have to double meld the class specific weapon. Like Rampager needs double meld Enmity+ T4, to get next stage Bravura, and have to kill final boss of Ugaro (sp?) Mines.

I'm impressed, they actually included crafters in the mix when it comes to creating these legendary weapons. I figured the weaponry would be self contained through a series of challenging quest. But it's nice to see that it will have an impact on the economy as certain grade 4 materias become popular as well as class weapons that may have been overlooked before.

At what point in the quest do you pick which weapon you want?

And also, which materia were you asked to meld to Avengers?

They added class weapons which are useless, so to address that fact by taking a hard look at classes and their role in a game where jobs took over...

Instead they included the class weapons into the relic quests?

Okay I'm on the next part of quest. I handed in Avengers and my key item off Flamefist and it says;

And you pick the weapon PRIOR to seeing what materia you have to meld.

WAR is Enmity.
Bow is Accuracy.
BLM Hell's Fist.
I'll ask others in LS, we have 7 people with the note.

Oh! Speaking of which, I still have Soiled Promissary Note in my key items. I don't think you need 9 seals for every weapon.

However, LS members saying that he will probably take the note in exchange for full relic, lol.
