While I'm generally not against more options being implemented for any race, if there is to be a specific range height, it makes more sense for it to be on the taller end given the race's history in the Final Fantasy franchise. As others have stated, their current height range is kind of short if anything.

My height irl is 172cm and it makes me sad that there is no single female character i can create as tall as me. Closest thing to that being the hyur race but i never play human race characters in a fantasy games. So when i knew there will be a new tall beast race i was really excited to swap but no such luck i guess. :с

For me personally it comes down to Race identity. In my opinion, especially since they did not get their claws nor their special feet the least thing is to let them keep their height. It is a trademark like their ears. Like i said. Not every race needs to fit everybodys criterias.

I am up for more options in the realms of the races identity. But i am against homogenizing.


Edit: To give a little example. If we would be getting dwarfes as a race...wouln't it be weird to include a option for tall dwarfs? :D

I'm starting to get the feeling that every time I see this topic come up, it's always girls who have a "I wanna be a cute smoll animu waifu desu nyaa~" obession, that are the ones complaining. It's getting really tiring.

Isn't what the OP asking for is for the second "version" of the Vierra to basically just be a smaller version? kind of like the mid and highlander? can't see why it's would be such an issue personally, more variation is always a good thing, and I'm the one playing a tall Elezen, one of few lol.

My far-removed cousin who's dad works at SE says Yoshi will do it, but only if you agree to have maximum lalafell height increased to 7 foot.

Because the two clans have always been the same height; there's nothing different about them beyond skin colour and some other small tidbits. There has never been a small Viera, beyond those who are kits. Not even Feol is small in height.
