That's just it though.

It's not a grind at all for some. They get lucky and get it in the first few tries. While someone could farm it forever and still never get it. RNG loot is stupid and there at least should be a token system. You know, the whole thing they added to 3.0 series?

The RNG is really only problematic if you actively think about it. 9 books now and I've hardly even noticed any rng.

So the problem is "Boo hoo, some people get it before me"?

The prob is rng with rng + a loottable, that contains too much crap. It is just proven Rng for itself and especially SE-rng can frustrate to unknown limits. Worst part is that it has to be locked in Potd, most awful grindcontent existing. Still: It is a hairstyle, not a freaking mount or anything else that special. It shouldn't be locked after all as something common.

I just got it after many runs. It looks decent but the ends are waaaaaay to straight. Looks weird / unnatural :\

The problem is that I feel like I'm atma farming again.

My problem is that it is a hairstyle.... A HAIRSTYLE. for many many other things this method would be fine. but now its just this random cursed chest that some dude in quarrymill can open and it has instructions for you to give to the only hairstylist on the continent and he is like oh man good idea straight hair that is kinda long thank you cursed box from the depths i would have never thought of that....... it just doesn't make sense

At this point I'd do something else. You know, like get to the actual patch stuff... but I know I couldn't bring myself to enjoy any content without this hairstyle.

I got mine after handing in 82 Sacks >.< Love the style it is just what i wanted...i feel for those still waiting for the drop. I just kept at it and i got there in the end gl everyone ^O^

Can't wait to test it with my pink hair.

Now this is what annoys me while grinding this, and mind you, i only want the hairstyle for collection. Don't even like it that much.

Anyways, about the loot table. When one starts the appraisal process and starts seeing it glow like mad, anyone will expect something rare. And getting something like a goddamned gryphonskin breastguard is disappointing, the time it takes me to run a bronze sack is enough for me to craft 100 or more as the materials aren't rare at all. Something like summer halters, explorers outfits that require map/airship mats are decent rewards, now stuff that anyone can throw a dime and produce a dozen shouldn't be on the loot table, even less with the "rare" glow.

Same here. I got some pretty minions and materias among the myriads of serpent tracers lol.

Realy wish they removed the Prisms from the loottable. Just did few more runs and got 50 bags and 41 of them were Prisms.

Edit: I already got it!

After 3 days of farming, I finaly got the hairstyle. Front looks great, but the back is bad.

I am with the above poster. This is not a good looking hair style. The back looks like piece of flapping cardboard. I think this is SEs attempt at free flowing long hair and it did not work out well.

The flapping cardboard look was how Ysayle's flowing locks looked, so it doesn't surprise me.

I got it on my first run in deep dungeon but I'm not digging it. I haven't seen any kitties with it on so I'm not opening mine. Matter of fact anyone want this? I haven't opened it yet and I'm broke, I rather sell it for some gold and both parties be happy then waste it.

Try party finder, I bet many are willing to pay for it.

Just do know there's a limit of 1m per transaction, so whoever you sell it to make sure you make a verbal agreement for the sale so GMs can protect you if the other person doesn't pay in full.

Or you could agree on a price, and then put it up in the mb for that price.

It's a bit more of a hassle, but it guarantees you don't get screwed over, and it means you dont have to do 3-5 trades in a row.

Dark Stalkers you mean? :O - yes I'm a capcom nerd... T.T- But no she's from Dark Stalkers aka night warriors. Yeah she's in KOF but that isn't her first game appearance. And I'm glad I sold mine now. It looks stiff in practice. does it actually flow and move or is it stiff? I must know.

Really glad I didn't keep it then. I'll stick to the hair I currently have. LEast someone who's been trying to get it this whole time has it now. So I feel better knowing it didn't go to waste.
