Lack of ugly people?

Some people consider certain races to be pretty and some others - ugly. I can see 2 characters of the same race using the exact same face but depending on the facial features, colors and a hairstyle they use I can think one of them is pretty and the other one is ugly.

There are no characters or races that are inheritely ugly or pretty. There are only different opinions.

I understand your point, but a specific request for more "ugly" was what surprised me, giving the description of fat and aged being her view of it. These types of games are designed to focus on beauty, and I don't just mean the character models ether.

It leaves me stumped, when most craft an avatar, it's usually a reflection of what we consider to be cute....beautiful....cool....positive! To want to reflect what one conceives to be ugly, disfigured and negative to them seems odd to me, since we play games to escape what's ugly and negative in the world. It's why Miqo'te are my favorite in this game, because I find real life cats to be cute and beautiful at the same time, so seeing feline races in mmos is always welcome.
