People Need to Start Respecting Healers More

Anyway, the only right one on all this, is Murphy: given any possible reasoning on how to give commendations, everyone gives them how they wish.

Why is this tread still going. This should have been more players need to respect one another. The bad mouth phrases is usually from vet players or stupid players. Sadly, all MMOs have their share of players that considerate that the game is their life so if one person does something that is not right for them, they will start saying things that will irritate the other person.

I don't see the point for healer to compare his comm with tank, or with any other classes.

As I played only WHM my comm mostly goes to tank if everything's smooth and no obvious mistake. Via DF I used to get 2/3comms(4ppl) or 2-4comms(8ppl) even sometimes I solo-healed ST or WoD, but IMO perhaps ppl not sure who's healing or some just left too quick. It goes to the other healer if we get on well or if he covered my mistake on himself. And ofc to DPS if they dodged all what they should while dealing decent damage, tho healer can't see aggro table while healing or I might have given more. I do feel happy when I get all others' comms, but I know in many cases if the tanking wasn't that good, I couldn't have healed carefree; and those comms actually became inspirations.

Now I started MNK, I see comms as approvals tho difficult to get. My comm usually goes to healers for (if they are) trying to keep me alive or to other meelee if I can't beat him on aggro at all using similar gears.

Meybe it's your lalafell. I don't have this problem. Hell, I read manga/manhwa and ppl end up dying and I still get commendations. Cracks me up.

On a more serious tone... rarely has anyone demanded that I do what they say in order to make them happy, and I respect them as a result.

No clue. Seems that healers have the feeling that they are naturally entitled to get more coms because they fill HP bars. or play cute nun-like miqotes/lalas. Even tho this is a noble role, fact is that without DPS they wont go very far in any trial . Works from Satasha to T13.

But im OK with that point of view. By the way i never give my commendations to healers/tank. I commend whoever is 2nd on my parser list. And if they out dps me i congrat them. Because this silent dps prolly made huge efforts and learned the job/fight HARD to provide us with a strong damage output - making everyones life easier. This deserves a commend too
