Alright. After a VERY long few days of deliberation, the cast lists are SET!

Congratulations to the cast! I do have some "understudies" selected in case someone drops out, which I won't be posting until after Rongi announces his cast because, well, that'd spoil the surprise!

Next step is round 1. Here's how things will proceed. First off, I will send an e-mail to all models cast containing a list of the shots needed for all the coming rounds later on today (expect it by midnight at the absolute latest). Please do not share this! As a result, it's very important that if I don't have your e-mail yet (looking at you, Rho and Ronin) PLEASE e-mail me at EorzeasNTMTyriont@gmail.com so I can send you the shoot list!

However...I'm doing it a -little- differently with the first round in that I'm announcing the round publicly! The reason I'm doing this is that if any model in the first round doesn't get their shot in before the deadline, I intend to replace them with an understudy. Therefore I'm giving everyone the chance to do this first round just in case. For the cast models, instructions on how to submit your photos will be contained within the e-mail. Everyone else, get ready! I might be asking for your shot with short notice. The deadline for shots will be Midnight EST on Thursday, 10/30, giving me Friday to ensure all shots are in and obtain replacements if needs be before the round goes up on the 1st. So, back in character I go...

Welcome models! Congratulations t'you all on makin' it this far. Now's when things get -real- interestin'. Our first round ain't too taxin', but should give you a chance t'show off some o' th'creativity that got you cast in th'first place. Th'theme of th'round is Grand Companies. Be it Maelstrom, Adders or Flames, I want y'to pick one of 'em an' give me a shot makes you look like you're a part o' the company. Colour theme an' settin' is important! I ain't expectin' everyone t'wear those odd lookin' flowerpot hats, but if you're fightin' for th'Maelstrom I want t'see some red!

Just an update~ Grats for those of you who made if for cycle 3! So cool (★^O^★)!!!

All the critiques are done and recorded, the biggest hold back is youtubes upload/processing times. I've been updating them when I get time but I have some errands to run today, so hopefully they'll all be up by tonight. (Throwing them all up at once usually crashes my internet / chrome and it just completely stops ><)!

Heehee this is why I love things like this, the pictures are up to interpretation! Y'all interpretation of the Amphitheater one was so awesome and I was giggling the whole time, I loved it! Our idea was that I was a weaver who was supposed to make costumes for their play. They go to try them on, and they don't like what I made. XD Guess I'm not the best weaver, bwahaha! But the costume one fit the Halloween time so well, I loved it! :)

Just watched my critique, and thank you both so much for the advice. I will keep it in mind in the future.

Scenic shot was in Tam Tara. It wasn't even planned, just had some downtime while waiting on a tank and saw this massive gorge coupled with the lighting and decided to grab some caps. I knew I was taking a risk cause it kinda toes the line for "scenic". And yes, that river shot did send me home!

I did take some battle shots after the fog weather had passed but I felt the background got too busy and preferred the empty space. Probably should've just settled on a different location entirely though.

That damn grass blade though, I didn't even notice it until I looked back at the shots after.

The critiques you're doing are really quite helpful, never hurts to have a second (and third) pair of eyes look something over.

I apologise for the skimpiness lol, I decided to apply at the last minute and thought I only had a few hours to do so, so I pretty much grabbed whatever I had and ran with it. I promise in future I'll be saving the bikinis for the beach. :D The weapon glow trick doesn't work with primal weapons unfortunately, I was disappointed by that too. :(

By the way the bat tattoos are unlocked when you complete the Halloween quests, so don't leave it too late. :)

Watched my critique video.

I never even though about going in the direction of the environment XD I was actually just lucky in getting my environment as it was. I wanted to do something with the large areas of crystal, and so I tried Salt Lake first, but found it hard to get a good shot of the crystals. So I went to the Burning Wall and noticed it was foggy, and just rolled with it.

As for battle, yeah, I wasn't a huge fan of that one myself :x I was struggling to get all my companions to work with me, and just threw my arms up in the air and gave up. Plus it got rainy as soon as I got there lol. I was just overall frustrated after trying to make it work out lol.

I completely forgot to use the sun in the third picture, I was kind of rushing with it. And never even noticed that I looked amputated until you pointed it out, lol. My free company has almost no Lalafells, and none were on at the time, so I bribed a random lala I found with cookies to help me out XD I didn't want to take too much of her time, so I wasn't able to play around with it as much as I wanted. I agree about the faces, I really wanted them in there better.

Thanks for the critiques! I'll try to keep these in mind as I move forward :)

Thanks ladies for the critique. I will keep in mind some of those tips for camera angles and also that i didn't show Zoso's gorgeous face enough in the photos. I entered last minute and had to throw it together fast. I have good ideas but apparently I have really bad camera skills!! :P


Turtle:

I love his scenic photo. Tehe I guess that side of the rive is a bit bland but i like the volcano in the background and the expression on his face is priceless. Omg a black duck costume would rock.

I did get some shots of him whacking the mob but they didn't look that good. I also love that photo.

Sorry I didn't put any captions. I didn't know they were required. Like I said, I got convinced by a few friends to try at the last minute.

That third photo...Naughty lala flashing all the ladies. Woot Kurri come on over -.^

Yes I got in the prelims last time but I got eliminated. The legs he is wearing are the ST tank legs. They are little gold shorts. :)

Id like to say i like the critique videos but all i hear is drunk loud means-girling. Critique is one thing but seriously if your gonna make videos try not to come across treating people in the manner of a high school snob.
