Oh boy. They absolutely didn't live in harmony!

Is Sega the Air Nomads of the original series?
I am leaving FFXIV because they refuse to put this on the NES how dare they!
You are kinda comparing apples to oranges here. The other MMOs you listed have communities that are probably an order of magnitude smaller than that of XIV. That's a big factor. Small communities where everyone knows everyone tend to be friendlier in general because nobody wants to be known as a jerk.
I will say that my experience in all three of them was very different when I tried, though. Neverwinter and LOTRO seemed dead and SWTOR's chat was full of people crying about how going f2p has ruined everything by allowing plebs into their game.
Why is this not on Atari?
Can we run Doom on FFXIV?
Who am I kidding, there's probably a mod for it already.
I will say that it is important to remember that XIV did get its reputation for being friendly when it was much smaller than it is now. I will also point out that WoW, a game which has become known for having a cesspool of a community, did not start out that way. It's been so long since WoW had a generally friendly community though that most have forgotten.
Its even in the logo. Which one attacked, though???
On another note, I'm actually kind of annoyed Xbox One support is *not* being offered. Its the same gen as PS4 and many people have one who don't have an x or s, including a friend of mine who's kinda been waiting for 14 to finally come to xbox since Heavensward.
14 also just doesn't have a bad community. LOTRO, even when it had a lot of people, had a very nice community, but it also whined with the best of them. About runekeepers existing, or a small part of the epic storyline not being canon-friendly, or whether beornings should be allowed to be a playable race, or what have you; and then people would get tired of the constant annoyance and get annoyed back. Its very similar to us actually, but they had a lot fewer people on the official forum so dedicated to constantly droning on about the same issues in every thread they posted in, regardless of topic. And they had mods. And those things probably correlate.
IDK if Xbox users "don't buy games." They certainly don't buy FF games at the rate PlayStation users do, which was the original point. Not sure what your point was though. Even the Windows edition of FFXV outsold the Xbox One version despite releasing two years later. Xbox sales are mostly nonexistent outside the US, especially in Japan (on top of Japan's supposedly dwindling console sales in general).
