Who gives a shit what the frontpage looks like? The duty of a community manager is to look and filter threads that are worth forwarding feedback for. In any social medium, Twitter, Reddit, Forums, there are always threads or comments that don't matter yet it's their job to look at. It's the definition of the responsibilities of a community manager.

Typically, as with other game forums, the community managers would give official posts on the higher quality threads, showing that they've been noticed and recorded as feedback. That would at least encourage people to make higher quality threads.
As it is now, people feel like they have to yell louder and louder to get the attention of devs who don't acknowledge they're even listening and it eventually gets hyperbolic to the point of shitposting.
