You hit the nail on the head. They don’t owe us ANYTHING. The sub for this game is cheaper than Netflix. Yoshida pours his blood, sweat and tears into this game and we pay pennies in exchange. I think we should be grateful that we’re getting anything at all. This isn’t Blizzard that we’re talking about here, this is Square Enix. They’re doing what they can with the small amount of resources that they have.

I don't think there's been any official confirmation on that (?) but I'd be shocked if we didn't. I might have just missed it somewhere though.
