I've always liked Bozja better than Eureka, and despite my mixed feelings with Eureka, it's a million time better than yet another mindless duty finder grind..

Are you somehow surprised that people are more likely to complain about the newest piece of content?

It's fine the way it is and it absolutely does not belong in those other areas. Just because you can't cheese the shit out of the entire game doesn't mean BLU is broken or doomed in any way.

Honestly a 3rd Open World Zone for a Relic would have been annoying. Just like Hildibrand and the Deep Dungeon in ShB, its good for them to take a break. Take an expansion off and mabye you can do a good new one new Expansion. They took 2 years away from the simple Zeta & Lux Grind, now bring it back.
And I liked the HW relic Grind, its simpler, straight to the point, and not RNG based, and its easier to Futureproof. Like I still see people do the Anima Lux weapon grind; the weapons look good, and the content is easy to do even 6 years in the future.
Open World Zones were neat...HATED Eureka, but Loved Bozja, maybe 8.0 they could do it again and hopefully learn from 2 expansions to make it even better.
For now, a good simple grind is welcomed in my opinion.

Ishgard Restoration was a nice idea but it ended up being a lot of developement time invested into not exactly a lot of content, unless you like crafting the same item 50000 times. So I'm not exactly mourning the loss of another restoration zone.

The same goes for Duels, very cool idea but atrocious execution considering how often you had to repeat duels to get the mechanics down, figure out the Lost Actions you needed and then optimize dps to make the dps check, but getting into even just a single Duel was a massive pain.


Unlike Ishgard Restoration however I would definitely like to see Duels make a comeback, just with a less ridiculous and entirely rng reliant entry requirement so you can, you know, properly progress the fight without wasting days of your life just to even get an attempt at it.

No. It's about giving the class a little broader usage/purpose than what it currently offers, which if I am to be honest is pretty limited as is. As a class that was heavily centered around solo-play, it absolutely does belong in areas of the game where solo play is encouraged. It's not about cheesing the game. It's about giving the class a lot more meaning than what is already present, which need I might add is fairly limited as is.

See the problem with your line of thinking is that it grossly misrepresents the actual complaints many people have had with the content itself. The premise of the exploration of content is solid, but the execution is still not there. People did not complain about exploration content. They complained that:

a) With each zone of Eureka, was essentially an entire reset on your power level, which ultimately led to repetition. This was later rectified by using the rating/level system for monsters similar to what was in Diadem, the OG version.

b) Eureka was largely a slugfest, wherein you spent more time spawning, and waiting around for NMs than you actually did making progress on the relics. This was largely attributed to the profusely long respawn timers.

c) They condensed exploration content from 4 zones down to standard 2 which did give a false sense of 'less content' (Which is the common argument that I've seen.

From posters, in here these are the common arguments I have seen. Albeit in a less aggressive form. I don't think I've really seen people complain about the premise of exploration content. Just the execution and the execution of said content does not preclude, and nor is it synonymous with not wanting to see it again (or just having a general dislike. You can have criticisms for something and still enjoy it). Might be worth learning this distinction.

They have a lot of growth they can make with respect to exploration content, and whilst I do not necessarily dislike it, I would like to see it refined before I see another iteration of it. Taking a break from it gives that chance.

It's the forum in a nutshell. The good news is that players in the game are rarely like this - they're just people playing a game that they like.

I think it's really rather strange when people come into a thread such as this to get angry over something that actually isn't happening. Many of us enjoyed Eureka, Bozja or both and so desired to see more of such content in the future. Pretending as if the same people who hate Bozja and Eureka are the same people upset that we're not getting a new variant is incredibly disingenuous.

The actual worry some part is that they said they want the relic system to be like ARR/HW, and we all know how terrible ARR relic grind was..
