I wouldn't be surprised if the dev response was to add in more content where the chances of getting anything you want is just as bad or worse. Their hilarious response to many people not liking the "top 20 provisioner" nonsense and having to have a PT of 8 to do Hamlet Defense was to add a reward to the "top 3 provisioners" and no changes to entry requirements for Hamlet Defense.
I long for the days of FF11's terrible drop rates, because they represented a veritable horn of plenty in comparison to this travesty. -
