I agree 100%.
It's too much of a hassle when you have to unequip all your curret gear, reset all your abilities, and then get back into them again with a macro.
If you're a 50 crafter, and you need to:
A) repair your own gear
or
B) repair someone elses gear, you should be able to auotmatically swap out a hammer for the animation, get the repair, and then BAM, you have your main weapon back out in a matter of seconds or less.
I think its fair to say the majority of the people who have tried Garuda have had their asses handed to them, now there is no BLM burn everyones going to be in that boat also.
It's not that we "are doing it wrong" its that we are learning the mechanics of the fight.
OK
1. Need a "REPAIR ALL" that repairs everything you have the tools and materials to repair.
2. Need separate inventory slot for all your tools and gear so you can still have room to collect stuff.
3. Would be nice to be able to display and select damaged items without clutter of everything else.
4. Would be nice to select from a list of craftable materials for the equipped class without sorting through ores and wood when you are trying to do leatherwork, etc.
5. Would be nice to avoid cooldown when you are just standing in front of a dungeon doing nothing but waiting.
Does that about cover it?
^ For 4. They are planning on adding a proper recipe book in 2.0, you will no longer select items from the inventory to craft with.
Agree with the rest of your post, an inventory tab for damaged items would be soooooo handy.
Or even a repair option added to the menu, when you click it will show all damaged items from most damage to least damaged.
