Unable to download patch files. [30413][25008][20495][20495]

Day 2, still getting this issue. Have also tried both launchers, multiple DNS, PC resets. >.<;

What really hurts me is that there are now 7 pages on this topic - SEVEN pages and who knows how many people having this issue who simply haven't posted, and there is not one word from Square Enix. NOT ONE WORD. I can't help thinking if we were a bigger slice of the subscription base there would at least be some response.

I appeal to you Square Enix, do not think of us in terms of which country we're from or how many dollars we bring in, but instead are we not all Eorzeans? Whether we play in Japan or Yackandandah, we all love the wide wonderful world you have created and we're anxious to get back to it.

Tried switching to the old loader as well, nothing.
At least acknowledge we exist, tech supp staff. We know you've been reading the forum because you've been answering other tickets. We know you're aware of this thread because it has a post deleted icon.

Answer us. Even if you don't have a solution, just say anything


EDIT: Did a tracert to the akamai server being used by ffxivlauncher to download the patch. The tracert completes in 5 hops with no timeouts. This is not a routing issue.

In the topic list, look just to the left of the number of posts. You'll see a little icon that you can mouse over and it say "1 Post Deleted". They've been in this topic. They're just not replying.

In Adelaide, Australia. Unable to download patch files with the error codes shown here. Tried all the suggested solutions but none worked. Contacted ISP and they stated it is NOTHING to do with them but specifically a problem caused by SE.

In Mildura, Vic. same issue here though i had none with 5.1 and trying to contact support is hopeless

Been having this issue since the launch of 5.0.
Every single update I have to mess with my dns, purchase a vpn, change the properties of my game files, etc etc etc. Sometimes it works, sometimes, like with this patch, and the 5.0 patch, im unable to play for days.
I paid $30 for the base game, another $180 for all 3 major expansions. I've paid for multiple optional items, and I've invested a little over 1000 hours of my life into this game. The fact that I'm dreading every new content drop because i know this bug will take days out of the sub time I PAY FOR, is fucking absurd.
I wouldn't be as upset as i am if there was recognition. Just a "we know this is an issue, and we're working on it.". I'm happy to be patient, wait out a fix, but please at least recognize that there is a large portion of your paying customer base that are genuinely unable to access the content that they pay for.
