Wow...
Lots of hostility here on the lodestone.
If anyone gets alienated I hope it is the hostile people, then we will have less hostility here and I'll be less sad.
So far I am not alienated. But perhaps I seek something from this world that others do not. And those that are feeling alienated seek something from this world that is best served in other worlds, or that they are accusstomed to from other worlds.
Please do not change my world to fit your needs. I am quite happy in this little world.
quote where i said speed runs in this game are really hard, or anything else for that matter. take your time, i'll wait. and while you're at it, quote where i said i was amazingly skilled or anything close to it. i'll wait for that, too.
these are simply straw man fallacies you set up to knock down because you literally have no argument otherwise.
but in case i need to spell things out for you, here:
i never said those things. all i said was you talk a lot for someone who does nothing, and all i did was ask you to put your money where your mouth is.
instead of doing so, you deflect and project.
it's simple- if these things are so easy, why haven't you done them yet? it shouldn't take but 20 minutes of your time, yes?
p.s. i've never designed a website, but i talked to someone who did and he said it was easy. and his site is better than yours. therefore i know all about designing websites and quite certainly have the skill to do so myself if i so desired. your site is dumb and you have no skill, i won't bother proving anything i've said by showing you a website i've designed myself, and you cannot change my mind, etc etc.
Doesn't matter where you said it, you're defending Speed Run as something that is "Talent".
I haven't done them because I don't want to do them, infact if you bothered to care, look at my profile, I hardly play the game because its boring as shit right now. Plus if you also bothered to know I am moving server, I dont hang with anyone on my current server. Cant get much done solo. Just because I havent done them doesnt mean anything, if I did them and kept dying, maybe, but I have never stepped foot into CC, and only been in AV for AF (which is lolz). I dont want to speed run them, I dont even want to do them legit because they dont really interest me right now. Plus I am way to busy on.. other things, which you know off.
Making sites is easy btw so not sure what your analogy on that is, if you put in the time in the end its only experience because really it all comes down to very, very simple Math.
I probably sound more hostile because, well people starting being hostile with me, so expect it, but my main point is: SE should not reward players for Speed Runs and rushing through content, because then what is the point in that content being there if 90% of it is being ignored? Should we encourage this and request the best loot to be only given if you ignore most of the content? Seems lazy. SE should design nice, interesting and fun dungeons, that reward exploration, difficulty and true strategy
You haven't done speeds run for either CC or AV. Infact, you haven't even cleared the dungeons yet but you will sit in here acting like you know what your talking about. I'm not saying speed runs are the hardest thing ever but to say they require zero skill coming from someone who hasn't done shit in the game is just funny. Don't worry, maybe doctor mog will hold your hand through the dungeons after server merge.
speed runs are fine on single dungeons low drop rate. lower lockout
give us long dungeons with like a 1 week respawn, multiple wings and bosses guaranteed drop rate off bosses non speed run challenge or maybe speed run killing x boss liek moogle.
people will quit bitching about how many x runs they do. long dungeon will be your main raid and speed run dungeon wil lb ur off time filler
edit: thats if they are going the whole route of instance only fights i pprefer open world 3-4 day re spawn but that sjust me
The answer to the poster's first post. SE makes you think you're gonna get something grand out of a quest that has required cooldown times but have to repeat several times to actually get it. Here's a formula you'll understand:
More time spent trying to get something that might not even be there = $$$$$$$ in subscription fees.
